Bernie supports a form of state-socialism/capitalism and still supports the american petite bourgeoisie (This is my issue with american liberalism. It's simply a prettier pig). Bernie is an american protectionist in both his trade agreement and military use voting history.
Bernie does not support overturning the current economic system by instilling a proletariat class dictatorship and then returning it to the workers for a class-less self owned society
Read about capitalism/communism, you'll see. You have no idea what communism means. Not that if you did you would buy into it but, quite obviously from your statements, you aren't well acquainted with essential ideas.
oh yeah, here ya go:
Quote:
Petite bourgeoisie (French pronunciation: [pətit buʁʒwazi]), also petty bourgeoisie (literally small bourgeoisie), is a French term (sometimes derogatory) referring to a social class comprising semi-autonomous peasantry and small-scale merchants whose politico-economic ideological stance is determined by reflecting that of a haute (high) bourgeoisie, with which the petite bourgeoisie seeks to identify itself, and whose bourgeois morality it strives to imitate.[1] The term is politico-economic, and references historical materialism. It originally denoted a sub-stratum of the middle classes in the 18th and early-19th centuries. In the mid-19th century, the pre-eminient theorist of socio-politico-economy, Karl Marx, and other Marxist theorists used the term petite bourgeoisie to identify the socio-economic stratum of the bourgeoisie that comprised small-scale capitalists such as shop-keepers and workers who manage the production, distribution, and/or exchange of commodities and/or services owned by their bourgeois employers.[2][3]

Here's a pretty in-depth charting of political theory that may help here, I would personally put american libertarianism on the right of left nationalist:

And another chart that plays more off the first:

Bernie couldn't take that position. He's basically a Keynesian Capitalist. That's as far left as you are permitted to go in America.

There was no monopoly. The patent had expired.

Since i started paying attention (clinton's second term, i was only 8 for the first one) I've correctly called every presidential election but one (GWB's second term). My prediction this year is that if Bernie can sweep Iowa and New Hampshire, he will be the next President. Otherwise, whoever wins the Republican nomination will be the next President.

As much as I like Bernie, I put a lot of faith in the betting odds, which as of today (Tuesday night) still gives Hillary a pretty favorable advantage in Iowa, unfortunately.
US Democrat Primaries - Iowa Caucus Betting Odds
But there's still 5 days before Iowa, and anything can happen. Fortunately, Bernie is HEAVILY favored to win New Hampshire, so maybe that will turn things around?

...just in case there's anyone from Iowa reading this thread, here's a great video from the debate with Bernie calling out Hillary for accepting money from Goldman Sachs. She wasn't too happy; watch her head bobbing at the end.
Bernie won't be bought.

Bernie is the only sane option out of this election, that doesnt guarantee his victory though. I've been watching US politics for longer than 5 mins and thats all it takes to realise it is insane.

Another day, and Bernie continues to close the gap. Timing might just be perfect for Monday's caucus...
2016 Iowa Democratic Presidential Caucus

Interestingly, most of Bernie's gain from yesterday comes from O'Malley losses.
