You people are worse than CNN.
Back to Bernie. Again.
Here's a pretty fair article on Bernie's views on foreign policy:
https://www.yahoo.com/politics/how-president-bernie-sanders-would-handle-foreign-127259111076.html
That is a great article. You are right. Wherever Bernies name is mentioned, Trump or Hillary soon follow, and it is very frustrating. Who would have thought a year ago that Trump's name would be inserted into Sanders coverage? I guess we know which one is the media darling, and which one is the outlier Lmao
Thank you for the article.

He's for the states being able to make their own decision. I'm not sure if this is his well-informed choice or if he's just supporting his constituents. Vermont passed a labeling law.
I was pro-labeling until I saw some of the arguments in the GMO thread Enlil presented. I was also conflating GMOs with Monsanto which seems to be a fairly standard mindset in our country.
*edit* It's far from a deal breaker for me. Was just trying to generate on topic conversation.

Yes, Enlil made some compelling arguments, along with another guy on there. I can't remember what his sn is, but I believe he posted on this thread once also.

Not sure if you are already aware of this site: http://feelthebern.org/. It's pretty good for finding his positions. I thought I would link it just in case you didn't know about it.

I'm opposed to it, and it's certainly not the only thing I disagree with him on. However, GMO labeling is a pretty minor issue compared to the other things that need to be dealt with in this country (and I tend to agree with Sanders on most of those). Also, it makes it slightly better that he favors GMO labeling, not because of a perceived potential risk, but because he thinks the states should decide.

thanks! The more I get to know Bernie, the more I like him. He's given some of the best speeches on the Senate floor in Senate history.

What a coincidence, you show up right after my post.
So, do tell, what positions does Bernie hold that you disagree with? There may be one or two small issues I disagree with him on also, but all in all, I really love the guy. His policy, and his personal character are impressive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all aboard the Bernie train. He seems honest, committed, and intelligent. His education, health, and political reforms are exactly what I want. I've donated to his campaign, something I've never done for a candidate before.
But I do disagree on some positions. Most are rather nitpicky. For example, I don't like that he said he will only appoint a Supreme Court Justice who will agree to repeal Citizen's United. I think he should pick a candidate who he thinks will do a good job, regardless of their individual positions, and he certainly shouldn't be forcing a candidate to agree to position in order to be chosen.
Some policies I don't disagree with, but I think his priorities are out of order. For example, racial and social justice, while important, I don't think are as large of issues as they are made out to be. And I think many of the issues will be fixed if he focuses more on health and education. But I understand it's a campaign and he's trying to rally votes.
Then, we do have some plain disagreements (usually on smaller stuff). We already covered GMOs, but there are more. For example, I'm not a big fan of most labor unions. I agree with Sanders that I would like to see more employee ownership of businesses, but I don't want to see unions getting a whole lot more power than they do now.
I would never expect a candidate to hold exactly my positions, but if they hit the main ones, then I like them. If we agree on major positions and I think they're actually committed to those positions, then I'm sold.

No argument against any of that from me.
I would like to see him employ policies that would encourage worker ownership, but I think that may be more of a socialist stance than Sanders holds currently. I might be wrong though. He sure does seem fond of Germany, and as I've said a thousand times, I really like their worker council idea. Maybe he has something like that in mind.
He's the first candidate I've ever donated to also, but I'm only 27 years old. I think with this Hillary email deal he might have a real shot, even is Joe Biden does jump in the ring.

It's interesting to me that Bernie is generating the same kind of crowd interest as Trump yet he gets 1/10th the media interest and coverage. And, more importantly, his message and what he's really talking about gets about 1/100th the coverage that Trumps statements on "anchor babies" gets. The message of corporate greed, exploitation of the working class and the destruction of the middle class isn't popular to the MSM.

He wants to continue handouts to the usual suspects and increase them. He wants to support unions, a few other bad positions too. No wonder the left birds like him. But he has a few good positions too like wanting to end the wod, whatever that means. Is it just rhetoric or will he support full legalization of pot and perhaps other drugs? He wants gmo labeling, which the dizzy left and paid shills are of course against, so that's a good thing. He is against corporate influence via lobbying, but will he sign and push a law stopping it? Or is it empty talk like we got from the lying sack of shit we have now?
He does have a history, unlike the pig in a poke we got stuck with and the fools reelected. He is clearly better than hill+billy, yet many of the bats will vote for the bitch rather than him. If I could push a button that made him pres right now, I would give up hoping for trump and take the sure thing on an imperfect candidate but neither of them are a sure thing. The forces of evil are pushing the bad candidates and it may be jeb vs biden or even hitlery in '16. Soros is pushing her, gates probably is too. All the moochers want the bitch or biden, sanders might just be angling for the moocher vote.
Go trump go!

What questions? I just tell it like it is like trump does, our next president.
The closer he gets to the nomination the more disturbed the bats will be. As he starts polling better and hitlery drops out, the bats get even more nervous. When he is finally elected, they will go nuts. Lines at every bridge where they will jump off.

Bernie news of the day:
Cornel West's endorsement of "prophetic Brother Sanders" will do well to bolster support amongst African Americans.
Bernie leading Hillary in NH in two new polls, one from HuffPo and the other from Public Policy Center.
On top of that, Bernie has the highest favorability of all candidates as a composite of the swing states, and as high as 78% in NH.
Things are shaping up well for Sanders.
