The Wal-Mart model isn't the ideal concept for the US economy, the idea of importing cheap products from 3rd world nations to sell to US consumers who are suffering as a result from the globalization is pretty stupid.
The worst thing is the money also leaves the local communities, Wal-Mart profits DO NOT filter back into the local economies, the money returns to the people at the top, that's counterproductive.
There was a day in American when all the retail stores were owned by local residents, they were a part of the local economy, their prosperity helped the people in those areas, Wal-Mart does the complete opposite!!

Oh, a dem politician "estimates" something and we are supposed to take it seriously? Lol.
Big fish, I see you are still able to send pms despite being blocked. I have complained about that in the appropriate forum with no reply from any mod or admin. It seems to be a bug. Rest assured I have not read any of your pms since I said I would not. I put a check mark next to them and delete. If you have anything to say, say it in the forum where you can get banned if you indulge your usual childish name calling. You are probably a teenager.

Excellent post. This, in a nutshell is exactly what is wrong with globalism. It takes very needed capital from local communities and re distributes it to corporations that do everything they can to shield it from taxes. Bernie Sanders, I believe, understands this better than any other candidate and for that, he deserves a ton of credit.

They lobby and enjoy over $14 billion per year in food stamps, the taxpayer is supporting this corporation and its employees, it's called crony capitalism.

Try to imagine the personal confusion a person would have to have to argue in favor of a company like Walmart who is one of the biggest recipients of corporate welfare and cronyism while being perhaps the most lethal predatory company in the country. Single handedly, they have destroyed more community based local businesses and done more to push American Jobs to China than any other company in history.
Walmart is a virus.

Back in the day the store owner was considered middle class.
Now the cashier manager at Wal-Mart is considered middle class.

Back to BBW's premise on this thread:
Bernie is drawing huge crowds because he is speaking truth to power. Most Americans are sick of having power make up truth and relentlessly try and brainwash us with it. If you want to see one a man who actually gives a shit about our future, check this out.

LOL ... It just kills the two of you that I'm not an Obama supporter at all and I'm not a moocher looking for freebies from the government. You keep trying to put that across. But over and over it's simply ... a swing and a miss.
And you two are what you are ... a big talking wuss that doesn't have the courage to put his money where his over reaching mouth is ... You claim to be a business guy and you give up a risk free way to make $5,000 or more ... LMAO. The number of PM's I've gotten from people I don't even know about what cowardly clowns you two are has been ... PRICELESS!!!
Of course you don't support Obama.
I suspect I've received at least as many PM's as you.
That's the sweet thing about not needing to have a dick-wagging contest. Why is your self esteem so low that you need them to feel manly?

Like you cant see Stoney's pushing him to bring the deal back up, and he can't see what KO keeps putting on the table.
