Now, I'm not saying Sanders is another McGovern, but the DNC may think otherwise and manipulate delegates to ensure Hillary's nomination (as toxic as she's become). But they better fucking make up their minds fast, Hillary is a sinking ship, and if they want Biden as their guy they better throw him in the ring YESTERDAY. Biden is just another guy, though.
I don't see how Hillary can possibly survive this email debacle. I think they've got her on obstruction or at the very least, some of her people and maybe she herself will have to take the 5th under oath and that's it. End of story.
Yeah, if she's made to testify and pleads the fifth there goes any semblance of credibility she had left.
Hillary is too powerful to face actual criminal charges. Just like the Hilton boy who threatened the pilot on an airplane and disabled the smoke alarm to smoke pot in the bathroom. I would be in Federal prison, he's out scott free. 'Justice for all' my ass!
They're trying to get Biden in to take her place as the status-quo candidate. Otherwise Bernie is a shoe-in. That's what I believe.

Hillary's power for the last 15 years has come from the belief that she would some day be President. The Clintons scare the shit out of everyone because you're either with them or against them so Democrats are afraid to cross them. But, the moment that it becomes clear she isn't going to win, and I think that's closer than people think as she sinking in the polls and these investigations are getting closer to where they've got her on obstruction or perjury, then she has no more power. NONE. She goes under oath in October. I'll bet she drops out on health charges very near that date. Right now, she's a dead woman walking. It's just nobody really wants to say it, but the writing's on the wall. The party is already starting to bail on her and when Biden gets in, it's all over.

If Biden gets in, that is. I really wonder what sort of chance Biden has. He's kindof a goofball, in my eyes. Hillary Clinton sure scares the fuck out of me!
I'm listening to a news snippet about her emails. Apparently if a person 'conceals or destroys' records of this sort of crime, it is a felony punishable by up to 3 years in prison. I can't believe it's only 3 years. Then again, that's just for concealing the records, not committing the actual crime.

He'll do better with men than Hillary and I can't imagine women breaking hard for the GOP for any reason at all. Latinos are going to be a disaster for the GOP ... Will probably be close though. This election is proving to be very odd already. Obama would probably campaign hard for Biden and that would help him.

You make a good point about Obama. What do you think of Biden for president? It seems kind of comical to me.
I said before the campaigning even started that this election was going to be a fucking circus. With all the money flying around, and all the candidates. I didn't realize so much madness was going to be coming from left-field though! This is great!

I think Biden would be just another Corporate Candidate like we keep getting. He's definitely NOT a warmonger and that's good. He was very well liked and respected in the Senate so probably wouldn't be as divisive as Obama. He was right about Iraq years ago when he said they'd break up into three parts via a civil war. But he'd keep pushing globalism, more debt and bad trade deals.

I doubt seriously obumble would do much for biden. Probably show up at a couple fund raisers and that's it. Biden is of course bought and paid for same as hitlery, same as obumble, same as jeb. Speaking of jeb, the jackass said he not only supports nsa spying on us citizens, he wants more of it. And of course he is against pot.
Worst candidates in descending order
hitlery jeb biden
Best candidates

Have you guys seen any news about whether or not Biden actually intends to get in the race? I've heard he was considering it. I think if Hillary gets pinched it might push him to do it. I think he could beat Sanders, possibly.
I would really love to see Sanders vs Trump. If I am completely honest, as much as I detest Trump, he honestly is the best the right has to offer, aside from Rand Paul, possibly.

Politico says it's nearly a done deal. He's just waiting for the timing to be right. They're usually pretty clued in to this kind of stuff.

I hope you're wrong on the former but correct on the latter. I don't see how the hell Biden has 10 points in RCP polls. I'm guessing it's the "I can't stand Hillary and Bernie is too out there" crowd.

Here's a question.
Would you rather:
A) Hillary or Biden get the nomination and win the general
Or B) Bernie wins the nomination and gets smoked in the general
Because as much as I'd love for Sanders to get the spotlight he and his message deserve, getting steamrolled by the GOP could easily discourage any and all true liberal movement within the Democratic party.

The GOP will not win this election, I'm not worried about that at all. Bernie does better than Hillary against all Republicans so far in head to head bipartisan polls nationwide, and both Hillary and Bernie beat Republicans nationally. Of course, it's still early in the race, but it's looking like Trump may very well be the GOP candidate.
Trump can't win. He will not take any Dem votes. He polled 3rd in the General election mock poll. He is a candidate for a small portion of Republicans, but there are so many of them that the vote is split in enough ways that a candidate could actually be nominated on 15-20% of the vote.
The GOP will not take the white-house, and Bernie actually does alright even with conservatives, because he's an honest and genuine man.
You see, even the conservatives on here like him better than Hillary. He is beginning to dominate the independent states. It's nice that he at least got a huge head start on Biden, because he's been boosting name recognition to Biden's level, and spreading his message, which Biden hasn't done at all.
To be perfectly honest, if anyone but Bernie gets the dem nomination I probably won't be voting.

I think Biden's in because Hillary's out and Biden knows what's going down. He's just in no rush, waiting for the chips to fall.
IMHO, it's
Rand Paul > Bernie > Kasich > Trump > Biden if I had it my way. There's no one else in the GOP I'm even remotely interested in.
Jeb and Hillary would be my two last choices and might consider going to live in South America if either of them win because this country's totally fucked if we get another Clinton or Bush.

The guy's heart is in the right place and he can't be bought off either.

Conservatives appreciate integrity probably more than liberals. I just think they're terrible at identifying it, as are many liberals.
I'm curious why you rank Rand higher than Bernie? I don't have anything against Rand Paul. He is an idealist, and I only agree with 50% of his ideals, but I think he has integrity. Then again, I'm not sure if you say my post about his dads campaign bribing the governor of Iowa for an endorsement. I found that utterly shocking tbh.

Sanders is a left wing loony, that's why the loonies love him. The general public might like him from a distance, the media picking and choosing what to tell them. But when the dirt machines start excavating, he begins to look like the radical socialist he is. Don't get me wrong, I'd take him over most of the gop field, and certainly over bitchlary or obumble. If we got stuck with biden it would be bad considering we have a historic opportunity to get away from the clutches of big money but biden is not as bad as many of the others.
Trump, I know you lefties hate him in a knee jerk action since he is gop. You don't want all the illegals thrown out because they provide support for the dems. You don't want welfare cut off and being forced to go out and work. He is rude and brusque, but so what? He tells the truth and what he is saying resonates with the public. An honest asshole is infinitely better than the lying swine we've been getting stuck with. Still happy with obumble?
Trump will tone down the bombast and pick up the nomination. Bernie, while he sounds like a decent sort, will be put on the defensive about his bad ideas. The media can focus on his good points all the want, and give him 10 undeserved percentage points that way but when the public sees what he is up to and gets more comfortable with trump, trump will triumph
Get used to saying president trump as in
"I wonder what president trump will do about ___"
or "I think he was right about ____ all along"
-------------------- “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835) Trade list http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18047755
