Newbie here.
I'm trying a mixture of things - Did some PF Tek glasses, and g2g transfers.
I've made an incubation chamber so the temp is about 24-26 degrees celcius, as it is winter here.
The g2g are colonizing very quickly, and the PF's are coming along. It is Wednesday night now, and I am going away for 2 weeks on Sunday.
I'm sure by Sunday the g2g will be close to fully colonized.
Do I need to be concerned about leaving these jars in the incubation chamber for ~10 days post colonization?
What is the worst that can happen?
Should I take them out and put them in the fridge to pause colonization, or will that hurt the myc?
Do I arrange for a friend to come a week later and remove them from the chamber?
Should I switch off the heater in the chamber to let them finish colonizing at a slower pace?
I've attached a pic of a jar to give you idea of colonization (Did last Thursday).
I've also attached a pic of a PF tek glass that is suddenly showing these luminous yellow patches?
Thanks for any feedback!

Leave the jars alone and since you won't be gone for that long it's okay. Even if they are fully colonized that would be a good time to let them consolidate. Leaving the jars to colonize in room temp is okay as well which is what RR said.

+1 leave the out of the incubator and not in the fridge. Incubators can fail and overheat, be very careful with them, most people end up overheating.

I have found no need for incubators... room temp is usually fine as long as you do not live in an icebox. 70-75f seems to work well for all phases of growth.

I would definitely not put them in the fridge. Take them out of the incubator and let them stay at room temperature. In the incubator you can't be around to make sure it doesn't get overheated or anything. It would be fine at room temp. So take them out, let them do their thang lol and enjoy your trip

The problem with room temperature is that the temperature drops to about 50-60 degrees at night, and some days stay that way, and some days reach the lower 70s, hence the need for the incubator..
Since they've been at this constant temperature, if I turn off the incubator, won't that drop in temp trigger pinning inside the jars?
Which incubator types tend to fail? What is the cause generally?
Thanks!

I've had them in the 30s-40s with a lot less problems than when they were in the 80s.
Temperature drops don't do anything for a tropical species. They're used for species that are found more north, and fruit in the fall. Besides full colonization/contams and evaporation is what causes pinning. Not light and temperature.
The cause is that cubensis slows down past 80 and bacteria rates sky rocket. Lower temps are far better than higher.
