Huge blast.
Fuel reffinery going up in flames or something. Pretty much a small nuke at that point.

Wow, that was a powerful explosion. It knocked people down over a mile away? Hopefully there weren't many people around the container or whatever exploded

holy shit! its not like Tianjin is sparsely populated. there's definitely some people dead after that. it must be a big number if they don't want to release it.

How many dead?
I'm gonna guess 1000 dead and 1000 injured.

so is the area around the port in Long Beach Ca, but if an explosion like that happened in Long Beach, there would be a bunch of dead people

which is still less densely populated than an office park or suburbs

I saw the video. I'm not buying their explanation of what exploded.

I say it was high explosives. Not saying deliberately set but may have been fertilizer which many components of fertilizers are high explosives, particularly the nitrates. The first explosion may have been something else but it set off the second one which was huge. I'm guessing 100 tons of tnt or more equivalent.

The second blow looked nuclear. I don't believe a fucking word those people say anyway.

Looks like a combination of high explosives and fuel oil or gas to me. its too violent for a simple fuel flare. Note the many missiles shot out at high velocity.
Perhaps a ship of fertilizer?
Its not sudden enough to be nuclear, in my opinion.

Jet fuel is my guess.
Then again, it doesn't burn enough to melt steel.

Jet fuel would not have done that explosion. It may have been present to create fire but the explosion was definitely high explosives, I agree with asante on that. Much more than the official estimate of 21 tons, at least 100 tons maybe more. Its hard to say how far away it was in the video but that was a major blast.
China is going down the toilet. No more surging upward, they will try to hold onto what they have and not go down hill too much. The whole country is filthy with pollution, I would never want to live there.
