Druggy and society

Okay so sometimes I get these thoughts about how much of a low life I am for doing drugs.
It started with dmt long ago. As I'd start smoking it, in the beginning effects I'd think "I'm such druggy, smoking crystals, I'm no different than someone addicted to meth" (no offense to meth or heroine users). And then the trip would take over and I feel love towards the trip. But then...
Eventually I started thinking like that on mushrooms. With effects increasing with dosage. Up to the point where I feel like the entire world sees me naked on drugs at that moment. And they're all judging me.
Now it's at the point where I feel low smoking weed. If I smoke nowadays, I smoke to paint good lol. But if I sit still I feel guilty again. I feel lower than society, even though 70%+ of the people I know smoke. Even people I work with. 5/7 of us are stoners (in IT). You take that last 30%, and over half of them drink alcohol.
See, I try to justify it. But I still feel guilty. Should I? I don't think about my place in society often when I'm sober. At least I don't think I do.
What is your take on this? Should I just accept who I am? How? It really bums me out sometimes. Especially when tripping.

It matters what you consider to be a druggy. IMO, if you are a contributing member to society, and aren't destroying your life or others to keep doing certain drugs, then you are not a druggy.
Psychedelics can be very beneficial. And it's only normal to think of who you are in society while on them.
But maybe the question you should ask yourself is why you do these drugs. I imagine that may clear your conscience.

-Basically either except it.. which I have heard about quite a few people feeling guilty even about smokin tree at first but then getting over it eventually.
-Or maybe you're just better off without them
What is the cause of your guilt anyway?

I've had these thoughts on the come-up of hallucinogens often too. I remember going on a hike in the woods on shrooms and thinking my sister and her boyfriend think "Oh he's just a druggy...nothing else", then I come down and those feelings go away. Shrooms and DMT make me insecure in the beginning/the come-up too, but after I'm content with what I've done. Just try to remind yourself it's only the drug making you feel that way. Even weed makes me feel that way. Even though I'm in a good place in life, I still get these thoughts.

I thought all night about how to answer the question why do I do psychedelics...
Best thing I could come up with is: *the curiosity in what both the visuals and the thoughts (the nonguilty) will show me.
I really don't do them just to get fcked up. If I need an escape I'll drink alcohol (rarely) for a careless moment.
It really makes me wonder if I'll always be like this.
