Celibacy and Kundalini

Hi all
Has anyone ever done any work channeling pent up sexual energy to the Root Chkra or the kundalini snake? Its something ive done for a while and my parent have taught it, but ive found y practice has gone a little stale and its feeling a little like a chore.
Id be very interested to hear anyones experiences or practice using sex energy to propel spiritual work or just well being in general?
especially anyone who has been celibate for any lengthy period of time (ie more than 12 months) and has found a valuable way to redirect that energy (not masturbation )
thanks

In my spiritual path were taught that Kundalini is a motherly energy and doesn't respond to sex
sex is supposed to just be an indulgence for married people
and no I don't know any other way to subdue it besides masturbation... and I've tried a lot

IMHO this is something to be extremely cautious about unless a person has a spiritual teacher to guide them. The energy is incredibly powerful and if Kundalini rises and you still have a lot of energetic barriers it can cause big problems. My understanding is that a person ideally needs to have achieved a pretty much still mind before directly working with it.
Having said that, I do have something to add. I'm assuming you are female? In men, sexual energy is lost through ejaculation, it's true. However, in women, sexual energy is mainly lost through menstruation. When a woman orgasms the energy remains in the body, although it disperses and is no longer built up at the root chakra. However, to truly stop the loss of sexual energy requires certain yogic practices to be performed which can transmute the monthly loss of blood for the duration of the practice.
Incidentally, I have and am worked with this energy in a less direct way than actually trying to force Kundalini to rise. Building this energy does surely increase awareness in a big way, but I really do believe you need a good teacher who understands how Kundalini fits with the bigger spiritual picture in order to do this safely.

I've gone over 18 months without ejaculation and routinely go months without spillin my seed. Last time I busted was in a wet dream maybe a month ago. I felt violated because I didn't remember the dream, just woke up in a sticky mess
I find the idea of "spiritual work" silly. What is spiritual work? To me, the only thing that can be deemed spiritual work is the practice of forgiveness, and this doesn't require anything but one's choice to do so. Forgiveness denies our ego and opens our heart and imo that is the point of this game.
To answer your question, I find no difference in my meditation practice or my sense of well-being in general before or after ejaculation. Immediately after ejaculation, there is a sense of guilt but I understand the folly in that feeling. I forgive myself and move on

the longest I've gone is like 9 months of no masturbation. now i masturbate like every day. i dont really feel much difference in my energy level but maybe im missing something. I've also tryed not cumming and just building the energy over days. that changes things some.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware you mostly don't feel the effects of celibacy unless you are actively working with sexual energy/Kundalini as part of a meditative practice.

I've been told that you can subdue/transmute/whatever it via creative pursuits or some sort of long term project that you focus on every day
meditation by itself has never worked for me... it's like trying to meditate while hungry or sleepy
