Our pudding is made of 100% grade A canadian beef. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat you meat? Meat pudding, that's how.

And I totally agree with you on the edgy\pessimism thing. Can't people just be themselves? It should be the easiest thing in the world.

I see, I see.
And I have no idea, sometimes people just don't like what's under their mask and it's an insecurity thing. Humans are weird.

Why? there's many brown people at our top universities kicking ass and making a difference in the STEM field. I do admit I had to deal with one very difficult Indian dude who was clearly very smart, but treated me as a subhuman at the bar I worked at at the time. Made me come out from behind the bar and gave me a speech telling me he was very disappointed with me.
But that aside, my experience with muslims particularly is nothing but hospitality and warmth. Countries like Iran and Afghanistan are in a very unfortunate circumstance now, between their own government, rebel groups, the whole bastardization of Islam that everyone is forced to follow

But it wasn't always like that, they have been centers of intellectualism and learning in the past. Even recently. The above picture is from 1972 pre-taliban Afghanistan. I know that a lot of very very smart people with advanced degrees in stem fields came out of that region, men and women alike. It's a damn shame what has happened since then, those people deserve better.

I'm really not fond of angsty pessimism that people use to look edgy. You can't reason with them, everything sucks, and they're not willing to change their attitude to look for the non-sucky things in life. The optimists are easier for me to talk some sense into.

This is true. But on the other end, I hate it when I'm trying to get from the passing lane into the right lane, but all the cars are too impatient to slow down and instead, keep driving around me and not letting me out.

I hate when I try to pass people and they speed up so you either have to go faster or get back behind them so they can do it again. It's like they don't pay attention to how fast they are going they just base it off of what the cars around them are doing.
Also sometimes I will get people who will just decide they want to drive behind me no matter how fast or slow I go, and will even change lanes at the same time. That just really irks me, it's like, why did you pick me to tailgate? I will have to pull moves like waiting until there is a car beside them and then changing lanes.
I don't think it's intentional on their part, I think they're just idiots who probably shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel.

Yeah, I cut those people some slack, but it really grinds my gears when there's no one in the right lane and they're just sitting. I usually try to give them a little time, and if they don't shift over into the right lane, I start doing something I really shouldn't - which is tailgating until they move the fuck over....for safety(lol) I'm usually a pretty courteous driver whenever I can be, but this is the one thing that really really makes me see red.
Doesn't help that here's a chunk of people I've met who believes that they're in the right by keeping other people from speeding. When I try to explain that it's that person's own choice to make and they're actually be way more dangerous and just holds up traffic, they usually pulled the "it's illegal to speed" shit.Quote:

I think the speeding up thing is actually quite intentional a lot of(not all) of the time. I used to hang out with this terrible person when I was a teenager solely because we rode horses together and went to the same school, and she would do exactly this in an aggressive manner and say something like "this assholes NOT gonna pass me" Like she took it to be some kind of personal threat. Her boyfriend was the same kind of terrible person.

a few tips that can help ur pub experience, if i may:
1. hide threads u dont like, i usually always hide the political ones that peeps be making just to stir shit up
2. ignore peeps who annoy u, or that u find have really nothing to offer this community other than hate
3. free ur mind, dont be afraid to say some ridiculous shit, have fun
