I don't drink much but I love one of these every once in awhile, they are local too which is a bonus.

My favorite that I have tried is definitely that. Such a rich flavor, I have had some that taste almost like juice and some that are stronger and more bitter.

They almost always hit the spot though :drooling:

Lambic is amazing too, also a super rich flavor and is even sweeter. Sometimes they are too sweet for me but they can mix well with other things due to that.

Aspalls Demi-Sec and Dry.  I've only tried those two.  Demi-Sec is my favorite, just slightly sweet.

It's high-end English cider, 7 bucks a bottle but well worth it.  They suggest serving it cool, but I like it ice cold.

I used to drink these, sooo good.

Sometimes add a shot of blueberry vodka if I wanted a kick to it.

All I know is  I was in England and I was surprised to see they had cans of 'Olde English' and I bought some naively expecting malt liquor but it was cider.  How dare they misrepresent our culture like that :snub:

Was pretty good though.  I like cider.

eek, never thought about that. I don't drink them much any more but they used to be a go-to. Now occasionally I'll get woodchuck, angry orchard, or other craft beers I don't remember the name of if I was getting one of those make your own 6 packs.

That tends to be the only hard ciders I drink, woodchuck, angry orchard, crispin, and names I don't remember.

I've been really into wine, but I still like sitting around a fire with friends and having a hard cider with a sidecar of bourbon or whiskey. My favorite fall drink.
Except for white russians, my favorite year round drink.

That thing would probably give me cavities haha. It's obv not fermented with honey added or the alc% would be much higher. So they backsweeten with apple juice and then add honey. Blech. Do people actually enjoy these overly sweet ciders?

It's really just to enjoy the taste, not to get drunk off of. Too low of a percentage plus all the sugar in the drinks is just asking for gnarly head ache.

I get that, to me that's the same thing as a can of soda. I have a taste for the dry stuff though so I'm pretty biased on my ciders. I wish the market wasn't flooded with sweet cider, there needs to be more options available

I just make my own from supermarket apple juice.

I prefer my cider drier than the supermarket cider.

I'm just drinking the $2 apple cider that is grocery market brand. It's more like apple juice than cider though and doesn't have much flavor at all. My go to juice is the Cranberry Raspberry combo.

Must be a Canadian thing. I have never seen anything elderberry flavored near me. What is it comparable too? Sour?

its comparable too... well elderflower obviously. but more helpfully, not really anything I don't think. although even the berries are a touch floral, so I guess blueberry kinda, with a touch of rose is probably the closest, but doesn't really do it justice. elder is, well, elder... kinda like trying to explain what raspberry tastes like, it tastes like raspberry.

Never even heard of Elderberry. Is that from Middle Earth?

This company called Two Towns has an annual cider harvest party in the Fall. They have this special pumpkin cider. Its so fuckin good. Wish they sold it in stores. Its my favorite cider ive had for sure.
