I just don't think about it. Gonna happen and nothing I can do will stop it. Doesn't make much sense to live your life fearing the inevitable constantly.

With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way.
I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today.
Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

there's nothing to be afraid of.

ever since my mom told me about heaven...i'd try to imagine it, but to no avail, all i could imagine if i'd imagine i'd been dead and what i'd see then was...nothing.

thanks mom.

but after twenty years, i've realized something. there is no reason to be afraid of nothingness.

Trying to imagine nothingness kept me awake a lot of nights. Not out of fear, just the thought of total nothingness is so alien to my brain. Even in the deepest reaches of space, there is no such thing as nothingness.

yeah, it kept me up too. when i was young i didn't like the knowledge that one day i'd see a blank sight, with no dimensions, and never get back. so i decided i wasn't going to die, and i'd just live: take note, OP.

im not afraid of so much...but what I am terrified of is the way in which I will day, also losing my loved ones.

if someone told me that someday I would go to bed and just never wake up, with all my loved ones living, then I would have no fear and life would be absolutely perfect.

DMT has helped me a lot with my fear of death.

my brother also died when I was 16 in 2007...he was 19. This has helped me cope with death.

Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging,
All-pervading, unfailing,
I do not know its name; I call it tao.
If forced to give it a name, I call it
Great (ta). Being great, it flows out;
Flowing out means far-reaching;
Being far-reaching, it is said to return.

It's just a shot away..

I kinda think of nothing as the canvas for everything. You can't put something where there is something.

Makes you start to appreciate the little things that you might not be able to do tomorrow. Imagine a death row inmates last meal...savor every bite as it slowly diminishes until there's nothing left...and then you know you're done.

LSD & DMT

It's not for certain that it will help, but if that's what you seek that very well could be something you could encounter.

You don't have to go heavy on the L either, honestly everyone apporaches these types of things differently. I would suggest being well prepared, guarded and comfortable before embarking on this.

The best quote I try to keep in mind is "why fear what you do not know, it could be interesting" but yeah I feel ya brother. I don't want to waste my life worrying about dying though, so I do indeed choose to live everyday!

Have it as a strong intention before embarking on the journey, think and mediate on it, read about different stuff on related matters and try to learn as much as you can.

You kind of have to find your own path, what I suggest might not work or jive with you. I truly believe it's through truly knowing yourself though.

Shrooms probably could help-

What I get from it at first is a DE-condtioning of all the muck that's been stuck to me in life, a form of light shadow work if you will.

From there I feel it's good to explore different states of consciousness. Work with the afterglow experience and try to climb the latter of improving your self.

Pretty much all psychedelics can be used to see answers in questions you never could before, or change your view on things. I'm a drastically different (better) person than who I was before ever using them. I haven't even used them in a long time, so the change seems to of stuck.

There is no death, only change.  A simple game of hide and seek. You are eternal. Separation is an illusion. In time You will become one with all creation. The drop will go back to the ocean. This happens in life. you don't have to do anything to get there. You are always on the path.
Life is the question, love is the answer.

i dunno, wouldn't that be the fear of pain, moreso?

fear of pain is rather reasonable. pain sucks. it's why is someone is terminally ill, that person should (in my opinion) be able to have some sort of pain relief, like an opiate, or perhaps MDMA, or Ketamine, to deal with the upcoming instances of pain and suffering, in order to make the transition more peaceful.
