Photo drop. Couple monos running the usual poo/verm cased with peat/verm and typical extras.
Shout out to PsyCLown89 for the print.
Enjoy!

A few bonus shots.
Cubie canopy shot I took recently, do you want this as an HD poster? yea.... me too.

Here is a killer shot of a reishi tub I have running, hoping to update that post soon. Bout time to harvest them shits.

Till next time.

Updates:

For fruiting sure but not needed for germination. MEA, PDA, DFA, GWA, its all gonna work. Unless of course you want to make poo agar, that will work too

One 66 and one 30, thanks for holding it down and answering the questions.

Standard monotub practice, I run an indirect fan in the room and don't really do anything but harvest, these tubs are on their 4th flush right now, they probably need to be hydrated but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I might be a little more attentive to things if I decide to run these clone cultures. Time will tell.
Off to the coal mines now!

Beautiful...
That poly looks really tight. Kind of surprised they are getting enough FAE. You run your cubes that tight as well?
Then again I don't run a fan so I can't really compare.

Like most men, I like it tight, lol.
But seriously, good eye. And although I am not surprised that they are getting enough FAE, you are correct that the bottom holes could be a bit looser and I did considered adjusting them. As much as I hate to admit, the entire grow was rushed and neglected but they showed there resilience as usual and did well regardless.

Might as well post these now or I never will, a fatter cap the size of a quarter, it printed well.
Although the substrate looked thirsty as all get out, it still appeared vigorous so I hydrated it and 24 hours later it looks ready to bang out another flush. The 66 was so dry it cracked down the center.

I gotta ask since no one has yet. How deep/how many qts of substrate? And what's the spawn ratio?

I honestly haven't weighed anything, I just eat them all by the ounce right after I harvest
But seriously, no, I have not weighed anything.
Quote:

I just eyeball it for the most part so my answer would probably be a guess. Spawn ratio is probably around 1:2 meaning 1 part spawn to 2 parts substrate. "How many quarts?" I used large spawn bags and if I remember correctly I weighed them out of curiosity. Substrate depth probably started around 3", if you do the math on a 3" substrate spawned 1:2 in a 26.38"L x 16"W x 12.25"H 66qt tub, thats like what; 7.3 qts spawn and 14.6 qts substrate for a total of 21.9 qts. Fuck man! I just toss the shit in there and grow mushrooms, this is quite honestly the first time I've ever done the math so it's probably wrong. Hope your question got answered somewhere in my rant.
