First oyster grow; help with fruiting chamber 1

Hello everyone! I'm new to trying to grow mushrooms, and I've started with oysters I'm growing them on straw in bags, and the pasteurization/colonization went well, but now they are fruiting poorly. Here's a couple pics; this is about 4 days after moving into the FC:

I've gotten many clusters of pins but they are mostly stem with small caps, which I gather is from lack of FAE, since I imagine there is enough light (I do it 12 hours on/12 hours off). This low-tech setup is basically some shelves wrapped in plastic in a basement which is relatively cool and humid. They are open along the bottom of the sides. I have a room fan running outside of the unit in an attempt to increase FAE. I mist pretty often. And I have a Vicks cool mist (this model: http://vicks.com/en-us/browse-products/humidifiers-steam-inhalers/v4600-filterfree-humidifier) that I just got and have run a few times by placing it directly onto the shelf with the bags but because of the openings a lot of the mist escapes from the unit, which seems to defeat the purpose.

I know this first grow is probably a bust, but with this set-up is there a way I could increase FAE to not get the deformed oysters, at least on the still-maturing tiny pin sets? Should I close up all the sides of the unit and have the cool mist in there running on a timer (say a half hour every couple hours or something)? Can the fan plus some air holes do nearly enough FAE to prevent these ugly oysters?
Any help would definitely be appreciated! Thanks Shroomery!

Increase the volume of fresh humidified air available and keep exchanging it.
My best most natural looking flushes came from outside.

Most guys cut slits in the plastic for FAE. If you need to cut more and the humiity drops, consider adding another humidifier.
