Got back to Seattle late last night/this morning and drove by a patch I left from last week expecting it to have been picked through and if not, then blue and dead from the frosts but instead, I found a nice healthy patch. Only based off this one patch, which was out in the open, unprotected from the elements, I'd say the frost didn't do too much to them yet, none had the bluing effects of unfavorable weather. They were all frozen and the few I picked, snapped instead of cutting but I think the only ill effect the weather has had is slowing down their metabolism, since these mushrooms should have been fully matured in the week I let them go. Here's the pics:

Nice ones @cro. You mentioned that they were frozen, I just checked the forecast and it looks pretty cold for the next few days...

Yeah, I'm not likin that 22 degrees, damn it never gets that cold here. Anyways, I just got word that last night may have actually been the first time they actually froze, I was under the impression that there were a couple other nights like it, so I'm guessing if I went back today they'll be blued. Guess we'll find out.
Peace - @cro
