It's been 5 or 6 years, could it really still be HPPD...?

Hey everyone, first post here.
Title says it all for the most part. Got "HPPD" when i was around 16, i'm 21 now. My symptoms have basically stayed the same since i got it but have just decreased in intensity; visual snow, shit moves around in sketchy circles when stared at, anxiety (getting mild). I can never remember having any real lucid hallucinations from my "hppd".
I havnt gotten high for 5 years, mostly quit drinking, don't smoke, eat healthy, exercise 5 times a week. I though real hppd was supposed to go away after a while, especially when you live the healthy lifestyle...
I'm starting to wonder if this hppd label i gave myself years ago is incorrect... I mean, it's not my eyes, had laser eye surgery 6 months ago, visual disturbances never changed one iota...
Do you guys think it could actually be HPPD after all this time? -----
TL:DR... i'm healthy and don't use drugs or drink, been 5-6 years and still visual disturbances, VS, moving objects, anxiety. Can it be hppd after all these years?

Your being a Nancy boy. You wanted to experience psychedelics and this is a potential consequence. You have it easy and are complaining like a school girl. I have visual static, halos, flashbacks, and sometimes very powerful visuals that creep in. You will WISH for some static when you walk through a parking lot and the cars appear super small all rounded out if you guys know what I mean.
It doesn't get in the way of my everyday life, and ya it can be spooky but whatever.....its part of the adventure of life.
You are over thinking this. Quit making yourself miserable. Mine has never gone away and in fact has gotten a tad worse as I've aged as the stress of adulthood has gripped hold. But its no big deal. The super intense stuff is not 24/7, but when it shows up I shrug my shoulders, open my eyes and go Holy Shit!!!! Its what you wanted to experience back in the day right WISH GRANTED

Yeah it sounds bitchy, i usually refrain from this type of shit, just got to me after years of trying to get the shit away from me and coming up short.
I never obsessed over it, never spent hours looking up definitions and symptoms, never took meds, I just didn't give a fuck, I'm stuck with it and that's that, was my view on things.
So because of that ignorance is bliss stance i took, never learnt much bout it, maybe thought i should ask around and see if it not just some obscure assed illness.

"and have a bad ass a new way of looking at life. LITERALLY!"
I just looked at this post of yours now and, wow. No shit! I have been able to accomplish so much in my life with HPPD. Most people i know have not made the accomplishments i have in my life, and none of them have HPPD distracting/fucking them up in the process.
I swear to God, Almond Flour, that one sentence changed everything.

I have had HPPD for about 10 years. It's gotten easier to manage, I got used to it. But I don't expect anything to change, or for it to go away. I don't really notice it unless I think about it and dwell on it. Nobody in my life knows I have HPPD. This is reality now, make the best of it.

If I stare at a pattern it'll "breath" and get wavy. It's whatever.

So when did you get it, OP? Some huge massive heroic doses of something, or how did it start?
WHat do you see differently, like visual static on a TV with bad reception, or what does yours look like?

Ive had mild HPPD for 9 months now. I still have anxiety/DP.
I meditate for hours every day and went vegan and became a muchbetter person.
I was thinking about doing MDMA or tripping to try to resolve the anxiety.
Question: any of you still do drugs/trip? Does it help with the anxiety?
I was one of the over thinking "bitches" who spent hours researching it everyday on HPPDonline, i spent way too much time
