ACRB Pull- Black discolouration/sediment

Hey guys,
I need some help. Iv'e been following these two techs (http://www.academia.edu/8831021/Acacia_Confusa_extraction_by_yours_truly_joshisoms_tek & https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/ACRB_Tek_By_Thick-Light )
Everything seemed to be going smooth, after repeated vigorous shaking the naptha+DMT was nice and clear. After leaving the Jar for 10 minutes to settle I get ready to 'Baste' out the Naptha+DMT, I open the lid and the pressure kicks some reddish liquid into the nice clear top layer... so I start again..
Rewarmed the solution, repeated vigorous shaking sessions, and waited for separation. This time the Naptha+DMT was, hmmm, more yellow? kind of like pale pee? This seems in line with a few pictures, and white alkaloids were observed. So I 'baste' the naptha layer into another mason Jar and let cool....Noticing a black discolouration on the bottom of the mason Jar has appeared approx 5mins.
Fast forward 6- hours, the black/dark ish layer is still there, now what looks to be a large amount of DMT crystals lay on top of it..So where should I go from here? Should I precipitate what I can out and clean it? Will I be able to filter out the DMT leaving what is at the bottom?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Peace.

Dissolve everything into new warm naptha and then focus on removing the dark stuff as this is most likely the lye-layer. easy way to do this is to have a tall glass of sorts and then poor out the warm naphtha into another glass. The dark solution(lye) will fall behind and be the last thing that falls out of the glass if done this way. Usually because of its structure it sticks more easily on the surfaces so the more you do it this way you will get rid of most of it.

turkey basters suck. It's really hard not to suck up a bit of lye juice with the naphtha. When I was doing wet teks I'd decant as much as I could just by pouring it off the top, then the last layer I'd use a 2ml pipette for. Would take 5-10 squeezes but you have so much more control getting those last drops and leaving behind the bark solution.
Or what qweqaz said. It's sometimes easier just to be soppy and then clean it up at the end by pouring the naphtha into a clean container and leaving your mistakes behind.

Thanks for the responses!
So my Naptha+DMT+Tiny bit of base solution has rested in a cool/dry place overnight. The solution has become much more opaque, with whiteish/off whiteish sediment/crystals laying on top of the small base layer.
qweqaz- Dissolve everything into new warm naptha? I assume this means the Naptha+DMT+Tiny bit of base solution into more (warm) naptha? Or could I just reheat the solution to dissolve the DMT. Definitely a good suggestion, I think that could be the way - I read another suggestion regarding a large flat surface; let it settle then tilt and wipe with napkin... Then re-precip at room/filter/then freeze precip?
Icon(S)- Yeah , the difficulty finding a turkey baster seemed to negatively correlate with its usefulness.
Thanks so much for your help guys
Peace.
