I'll post pics when I get home. I put in a custom loop for my GPU+CPU a couple months ago. I'm upgrading to hardline PETG tubing soon.

That's an expensive processor for AMD. You could get an Intel that would perform better for gaming. All those AMD cores are only useful for like video editing and other professional uses. Rather than two 970s I'd get one 980TI. 3.5 GB'S is not cool for all that horsepower. Games are using more and more VRam. Perfect examples are GTA V and Shadow of Mordor. One 980TI will perform almost the same as two 970s and you'll have 6 GB's. The Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980ti slays games. That would be much better than two 970s IMO and the same price.

Ya i decided on getting the Maximus VIII Hero Motherboard. And im gonna wait until Intel releases their I7 Skylake.
Also I did change my GPU to a single 980TI like you suggested, i dug a little deeper into it and duel 970's just isnt practical for what im doing.

SLI is pretty overkill these days, if you buy a high end graphics card... putting another in SLI isn't going to give you that much performance gain unless you are going for ub3r benchmark scores and ep33n. That plus some games and many apps don't even benefit at all from SLI, and some have weird issues. Although it does make troubleshooting easy.. if you fry a card you always have a backup. But yeah.. better to just buy one really good GPU for simplicity and money's sake.

Don't get an AMD CPU for gaming, they are really fucking shit.

Compared to Intel's options right now.. yeah. They run circles around AMD's chips in performance.
