Hi all
I turned 21 in February and even though in Australia everything is legal at 18, 21 seemed like an excuse to party.
But this hasn't turn out too well for me. I did 3 Saturdays in a row of binge partying, I had gotten my hands on some pills that I thought was regular MDMA - and had been boasted for being the best MDMA based pill in the country at the moment.
First weekend was my actual birthday. Only had one pill, and it was all my regular MDMA feels. Great night.
Second weekend a producer was playing in a club so I started with 1, and decided to kick it up a bit and move onto a second pill. At about 3.20 is when shit got absolutely fucked up. I mean, peoples faces morphed and everyone in the club was staring at me. Peoples words got mumbled up when they talked to me, I freaked out, I knew it was a hallucinant (And my first time taking a hallucinant) but it was my first time.. I liked uppers, I don't even like weed. Long story short, I had to go to my brothers were I was convinced I had been taken my a police officer, then convinced I was being kidnapped, at one stage I could see myself and friends from above, I was holding my friends hand and it felt like her body wasn't there, just her hand. Lets summarise it as being really scary.
Third weekend I was an idiot, I had some friends come over for drinks and I got pretty drunk and a friend suggested we have more fun. I had two pills left, he didn't want much and in my drunken dumbness I gave him half and decided I should have 1 and a half. This was a more enjoyable experience because I expected to trip but didn't, but then I did but could calm myself down from it.
Contacted my source later. Turns out it was actually a mix of MDMA, Speed, and 25i. My source apologised. I don't think i'll use my source again.. ever.
Usually I wait 3-4 months between MDMA rolls - I usually only get it if there is a special occasion, speed I usually don't have ever. 25i I've never even heard of until I was told about it.
It's been nearly over 6 months and I feel like theres is apart of me missing. I'm constantly mood swinging. I sometimes think about the experience and my heart rate speeds up I start crunching my teeth, I get agitated, then I crave going out but I don't want to go into a club for whatever reason. My friend said this could be because of taking so much speed in a short period. But I generally have shit anxiety all the time now.
I've already tried living a healthier life style, eating properly, multivitamins, ensuring I'm outside in the sun more, sleeping properly, exercise, etc.
Can anyone please advise me what to do, I don't want to tell my brother whats wrong with me.

Should have saved the pill to reagent test it. Anyways man it might just be mind over matter, you probably have high anxiety and some depression and are trying to find something to blame it on. The human brains pretty resilient and it should recover from 25i but next time please please test what you take! If you still feel really bad in a month or so go to the doctor and just tell him what happened. They're there to help you

Unfortunately, it's difficult for us to advise you. 25i is an extremely powerful substance about which little is known, and its potential for long term effects is at best unclear. Persistent mood problems following MDMA use are not uncommon. At age 21, your brain is still developing, such that if these problems go unresolved it will become all the more difficult to correct them later. If anxiety and mood swings are disrupting your quality of life, affecting your relationships, education, or professional success, it may be appropriate to raise the issue with your physician.

people have gone on wayyyyyyyy worse binges on MDMA than 3 days and have been ok, although im not saying mdma is completely safe i really think it was the other random chemical in it that has caused this. hundreds of thousands of people take MDMA on the weekends and are still able to function fine but then again it could just be your body chemistry. ive personally used MDMA probably around 200 times over the course of 6 years and i havent noticed a single lasting side effect.

considering these substances all act on the adrenergic, serotonergic, and dopaminergic pathways within your brain, there is the possiblity you have disrupted the natural balance of neurotransmitters and there may be some difficulties with your frontal lobe and your amygdala, as the connections within these areas deal primarily with mood and eanxiety regulation. my bet is a problem with serotonin levels, but i'm not a doctor.
your best bet would be to present some information to your physician, preferably someone like a psychiatrist or psychologist that can better understand what's going on.

Incase anyone is curious. It has all gotten worse, it got to the point I couldn't take it anymore.
My 3 week drug binge of mdma and 25i has led to me developing clinical depression. As my life was happy and great beforehand, it's quite clear what has induced this. The doctor says it was the bad trips that put me in a bad head space and that the chemicals that i've drained from myself by using mdma (and whatever else) would have helped me recover. possibly more, as not enough is known about 25i, however it is said by my doctor that it is extremely dangerous.
I'm not longer touching any mind altering substances (even high amounts of caffeine) and i'm being well medicated and under a lot of therapy
to help me through this I wont be reading on from here or other forums. good luck to anyone else in the same boat, the best way to fix it is to not touch substances like this. lesson learnt..

Keep on staying healthy. It takes time to recover from some experiences, ie years. You're 21 now, and that seems like a long time, but it goes fast. I did a lot of drugs when I was 19-22. I'm 24 now and finally sorted out a lot of my experiences. It sucked at the time, and there were other things going on besides drugs, but you come out a much stronger person if you don't fight it. Stay safe. Careful about the drugs doctors give; they aren't meant to help long term. They are for short term relief of anxiety/depression. You have to figure out how to deal with it

good luck man I hope you're able to find some stability and happiness. I definitely agree that these drugs take more than they give in the end. I haven't taken any stimulants for years, because I know every time it leads me to be depressed and hopeless.
You've got to just exercise and eat healthy and eventually you will get a break.
