No mushrooms in QLD?
    #22070270 - 08/10/15 01:41 AM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Hey guys, my first post, didn't have any clue where this should go so here it is: I am a long time visiter to this site and have a decent amount of experience with identifying, preparing and consuming magical plants. Surprisingly, as someone who has grown up in South East QLD I have somehow never been able to locate any psilocybe mushrooms... ever. Over the course of the last 6 or more years I have recorded the many different hunting locations and techniques taught to me by many people, and despite years of hunting in dozens and dozen of locations around brisbane still have somehow never come across these wonderful fungi.
It seems that mushrooms are one of the few psychedelics commonly available to people in Brisbane.....or so I'm told. I have varied my hunting times, seasons and techniques yet somehow this is the one common entheogen I can't find! Not trying to mess with the precious sourcing rules on this forum, nor am i asking for drugs, I just wanted to express my frustration at this problem and see if anyone else can relate. Am i searching in vain? As I'm about to give up on mushrooms for good :frown:
Thanks,
Fraser

Find a music festival and buy some there, grown them, do some research and find them out in the wild, go on the dark net and order them. But watch out mushrooms make you gay so you might love butt sex afterwards

Once you start finding wild mushrooms you get a feel for what condinions they love and when they fruit. It becomes second nature to find them in all the right spots.

Also it's good to expect for every 10 spots you search there won't be anything and 1 spot that will. It seems you've gotten very unlucky. Follow your states active season thread and follow other people hunts and timing.
