Hey so I have an interesting situation.. I just started back up a small bulk project using wbs, & I'll soon have about 10 jars of colonized spawn on hand, most of which I plan on spawning to tubs, but my mom just moved in this place, & there are literally cows right out her back door.. Now, I'm in KY, & it's not highlighted on the map for cubes.. So I was wondering, if I introduced a couple jars of spawn to a nice shady spot where there's been a whole lotta shittin goin on, would it colonize the ground & fruit as if it had been done naturally? If they don't grow wild up here I wanna introduce em, & see if I can't do something to change that.. Thoughts?

Fuck that, if I had free poo available I would use it as indoor subs!

I've already got an indoor thing going, I just wanna see if I can't get a shitload to grow where the cows graze.. It would seem if mycelium colonized the fertile ground, that it would just grow & grow, since there's literally been shit dropped everywhere.. Itvwoukd seem I could make it a perennial type thing where they grow every season..

The spot right behind my house is shady & the ground is mostly just dirt & shit.. Then there are grassy parts.. I figured the best spot would be in the shade too.. But from what I've read, the entire ground of a well grazed pasture is suitable for mushroom growth, since it's been shit on repeatedly over the years.. So would I just loosen up some dirt under a tree & mix the spawn? Or do I need to mix it with actual shit?

cubes don't' grow in the ground by nature, they grow on the manure patties....put some spores in there water source. as for spawning your best bet is to mix with actual manure
