hey guys just wanted to make sure my process is correct this is my first time taking a spore syringe to pressure cooked rye grain jars. I purchased my 3 syringes from ralp, z strain cambodian and ban hua thanon. After i finished pressure cooking the jars for sterilization i opened my syringes in my sterilized glove box and squirted 1cc of spore into every jar through the top hole that i had perforated tape on. I just wanna check and see if i am doing this right and want to know around how many days untill i see growth. Btw i use about 1/5 to 3/4 a pint of rye grains.

That sounds 100% spot on. Now go on about your business and in about a week you'll notice growth in your jars. Please be patient
You cannot put who you purchased spores from. Edit your OP

First off, take the vendor name out of your post.

Did you flame sterilize the needle before the first jar and in between each subsequent jar?

What unit of measurement. CC's. Whole syringes?
Additionally, germination of spores on grains can take anywhere from 3 days to three weeks in extreme cases.

This could work because it was in a glove box but in the future flame sterilize between jars please.

1cc is fine. Not flame sterilizing the needle in between jars is not fine. You may have gotten away with the first one, but there is a fair chance the rest will contaminate. Do not discard them yet, but do start new jars as soon as you can.

dang. i made sure to sterilize every jar individually with bleach and rubbing alcohol before putting it into the glove box and then i sprayed the entire thing down including misting it before closing. do you think that will be enough sterilization to allow the jars to work. i havent seen anything close to a contam yet

The needle being waved around in the air and pushed through the injection port of whatever you used is enough to contaminate it. We flame the needle red hot in between every inoculation to prevent cross contamination. All the bleach and lysol sprays on earth is not going to account for poor procedure.
Wait and see what happens with the jars you have. Start new ones while you wait. And pray to the god of your choosing to pull your ass out of the fire.

Why is everyone rolling with "glove box" today? Still air box or go home, you can't flame sterilize safely in a glove box.

You can also install a shelf high up in a corner of a non frequented room. And do all your work up there without a flow hood or sab. It's being close to the ground that is a vector for contams. Up in the corner of a room rarely can collect contamination. However you would be doing all your work standing on a small foot ladder. Good for your back

You know where the real sweet spot is? Up in the back corner of a SAB that's been left to sit for about an hour.
