I think your choices in this situation are actually pretty cut and dry: either you choose to ride this out with your friends or you distance yourself from them. If they are very dear friends, do the former, but if you value your own sanity you may want to choose the latter.

I think it's really up to you and your partner to take steps to make sure nothing happens, they just didn't use anything for some fucking reason and now they're paying the price. And it's not just women that get special treatment, I feel bad and want to help whenever someone's in pain like that. All we have are each other so treat people how you would want to be treated

And I agree Zappa, the cunts always get control. Poor woman, a big scairy man got her pregnate. She just had no control over that at all.

Maybe you stop playing mediator? You still haven't explained how ANY of this is your business. I have close friends in terrible relationships, but I let them sort it out because it's their relationship and has nothing to do with me. At this point I believe that you just want to be involved in relationship drama, probably a result of being single and lonely.

Though more stable then your friends sound, my similarly young, unmarried friends just had a baby. I just acted like it was a blessing and told them to love it and shit. Unless they want an abortion, that is the bestway I can think of. Just don't stir it up.

Whatever. I was just trying give what little advice I could give to a life long friend that just found out he's having an unplanned kid. I don't see any problem with that, it's not like I'm running over to their house playing psychologist. I just happen to have been there when they both found out.
