Made two B+ monos, 4qt of questionable spawn, 1 brick coir and 2 qt verm each. Going on day 3.

Two other monos, B+ minus the verm (oops), 5qt spawn that have shown signs of contamination slowly chugging along. Tubs were not dialed in initially (bottom poly entirely too tight). I was slipping for awhile there, which is a disgrace to the help many of you have given me, especially Eagle.
Anyways, I've yet to get a decent uniform pinset, just sporadic growth. They've been flipped once or twice each and yesterday I decided to add thin plastic on top in an attempt to initiate a decent pinset.

That said, I have almost 100 percent success rate. I only have freak accidents, chalked up to human error. I've really busted my ass refining my technique over the years, and I believe without good technique I'd have a lot of issues considered where I'm cultivating.
Impeccable technique above all else!
You said it. Attention to detail is where it is at.

I find it overpriced. And I don't think its really even necessary. The Epsom salt is cheaper and does pretty much the same thing if I remember correctly

No its not the same thing, Espom Salt is just magnesium sulfate.
Cal-Mag+ is calcium, magnesium, iron and trace minerals;which is good for treating the broad spectrum of plant deficiencies.
Cal-mag+ should be added as a supplement after the cotyledon leafs die.

I see, I see. I confused mag and cal. He's doing a soil grow as well as I am, so I don't think he needs to worry about that as much as if he was doing hydro.

Theres a reason why I asked if he got Cal-Mag+ yet. I saw a few deficiencies in his leaves.. So i suggested he pick some up as a little supplement;since he hasnt used it yet, nor has he changed out is organic medium. Im sure his soil was fairly "washed/depleted" of all, if not most of the trace elements & minerals.
Those are some beautiful girls, nonetheless

Even if the soil was washed of all the minerals, wouldn't flushing them with soil nutes aid that? aren't you supposed to flush soil like 3 or 4 times throughout the cycle?

I find it overpriced. And I don't think its really even necessary. The Epsom salt is cheaper and does pretty much the same thing if I remember correctly
not quite! epsom is mag sulphate not calcium. it does improve calcium uptake but require it to be in the soil first!!
epsom makes your leafs green and help calcium absorbtion because of the mag but thats it, and will stop the little brown holes that look like cigarette/roll up burns if you have mag deficiency..
dont think that it will sort calcium probs as it wont! better just to chuck some rockdust in your soil before the grow and if need be use epsom as required.
i personally use alfalfa and crab meal for nutes in the soil and this provides the calcium and also works as biodefence as the chitin in the meal makes the plant produce chitinase and this kills larvae and bugs as their exoskeletons are made of it! so they dont favour the soil and dont get pests! i use insect frass too for the same reason. then just water guano and molasses tea with benefiacial microbes that has been airated for 24 hrs for nutes and add extra wood ash and guano to liquid from week 5 or 6 for booster or top dress with guano and ashes in week 3-4 flower with a handful of worm casts for nitrogen to speed the breakdown of the guano.
and finally use 30% wormcasts in your soil mix from the start! cant beat it!
also if prone to bugs in soil add neem meal as ferts in soil. this has insecticide built in and also fertilises and has a chemical that binds nitrogen to soil so you need less in the soil for veg.!
and aloe vera and nettle foliar feed in veg. makes em real happy they pray to the light and makes them real green! coconut water feed for seedlings the hormone in it are a organic growth promoter!
all these ingredients are natural and the same as what you will find in most bottles for pests, boosters, tonics ect but much cheaper
no need to flush ever as no salt build up! water only except teas inbetween.
all organic and best bud imo
or just buy cal-mag as suggested

No he hasn't fed them yet either.. Just water.. && your supposed to flush once a week, when using a feeding regimen, to prevent "salt build-up" & "lock-out"
