Hey guys, I'm new to spirituality and mysticism. I've always been very intruiged by that realm, however it wasn't as real as it is to me now.
I've discovered what I feel to be genuine spiritually and magic after some psychedelic experiences. I started using LSA and LSD to overcome addictions and mental illness. My life was lost, dark, detatched and fragile. I needed a miracle to save me from death. I was an atheist, but one day after lifting my head of from a pile of my vomit on the floor after being unconcious, I prayed. I prayed for days to find a way out.
I decided to look into morning glory, after my research I ordered some seeds and tried it out. My very first trip I saw Shiva, I saw me, as a baby connected to Shiva growing, i saw a dark figure that was me but it was detached from Shiva and I. Shiva was helping me grow into my true self.
The next trip I saw aliens, picking my pineal gland and communicating with me through touch. Then Vishnu was there, he told me I must accept a form of spirituality to heal. To trust myself for I know what is the right path.
I had never really known who Shiva or Vishnu were before this. I am just summing it up, but those trips were intense, I had another with aliens, many gods, demons, Vishnu, an exorcism when I thought I had died.
In my last LSD trip I saw platonic solids with rune-like symbols, I felt many dimensions, even dark ones I had to quickly leave. I lifted my arms to the sky and then touched my friend and said God, and right as I did that, he said Nut. He saw me around a fire as a healer.
I'm not going in to every detail, but I will write trip reports for this interested.
I have started collecting minerals and crystals because everything about this feels so right to me. I have experienced miraculous healing. I am just not vastly knowledgeable in the entire realm of this spirituality and magic. I want to learn.
So I am asking for those who are experienced to please recommend any books about spiritually, mysticism, Hinduism, crystal, mineral magic, runes, reiki and anything else.
Or PM me if you want to discuss more.

Read PIHKAL and TIHKAL. They aren't spiritual per se, but they are very helpful for learning more about your mind and the psychedelic experience. You will get a good sense of how you can grow without needing an ego-death experience. Read the psychedelic experience by Tim Leary if you are interested in ego death and rebirth.

Also, read Buddhist texts. Even if you prefer Hinduism because you believe in a God (or for whatever reason)the Buddhists have a vast wealth of knowledge about the workings of the mind, and how to grow spiritually (as do the Hindus).

Thanks guys! I am open to any suggestions. I am very intrigued by Buddhism as well. I'll be adding these all to my list of books to buy.

Be Here Now by Baba Ram Dass (formerly Richard Alpert)
If psychedelics got you interested in spirituality this is the best start.
Dr. Alpert was involved in the Psilocybin and LSD experiments at Harvard with Tim Leary. When it all hit the fan and they were fired he decided to go to India searching for answers and ended up changing his name and path.

I've found that spiritual autobiographies are particularly interesting and inspiring.
a classic is 'Autobiography of a Yogi' by Paramahansa Yogananda - i highly recommend it! it's based around his meetings with many saints and sages, primarily in India.
another autobiography I really enjoyed is the two-part one by Peter Mt. Shasta - "Search for the Guru" and "Adventures of a Western Mystic: Apprentice to the Masters" - also highly recommended!

The bibliography will keep you busy for years if you avail yourself of it. It's like a zip file. One book alone, Foundations of Tibetan Mysticism has amazed me for 40 years. I based my doctoral dissertation on it and was in written communication with its author, Lama Govinda. That was just one book in the bibliography of BE HERE NOW which I've used and gifted since 1973. I even drove up the Sangre de Christo mountains on a steep muddy road to visit the Lama Foundation in New Mexico. Still the best tripping manual (Steve Durkee designed the art for the dilated eyes of the tripper). Read the first part before a trip, the core book during, and 'Cookbook for a Sacred Life' after the trip. This book changed my life. It will impart 'The Perennial Philosophy' and teach you the essential meanings of mysticism.

That's cool. I mentioned the Bible because of it's power to change one's life Big Time. Good luck on your journey
btw, sorry Delirious Dwemer, I got your name wrong in my last post.

I'd recommend the Bible
I was also going to say the Bible. Read the book of Revelation while tripping (but familiarize yourself with the rest of the Bible first) I don't think it gets much better than that.
I also recommend trying aminita muscaria mushrooms, they are far more powerful than things like LSD and LSA in terms of bringing you into union with the divine. But classical psychedelics like LSD (and especially mescaline in my experience) are much better for working on specific mental issues.
So I recommend using both types.
In addition to the Bible and other Christian texts, another book I recommend is called Lamedeer: Seeker of Visions which is a book written by John Fire a Sioux medicine man.
Learning about the native american view of the universe, with their unity with nature and their sacred rituals had a big impact on my spirituality. Basically get back in harmony with nature, that is one of the best ways to heal and grow spiritually. But read the book.

I think due to my horrific constraining brainwashing Christian upbringing as a kid, I naturally stray away from Christian text. But hey, I may find it in me to check it out one day. Please specify why you guys think the bible is a good read and what it has done for you.
Muscaria is definitely a must for me when I can obtain it and feel ready. I'm no where near done with my psychedelic journey.
The native way of life, and beliefs are very amazing to me so that I will be checking out.
Thanks Shining Cosmos, and everyone else.

Neither of them are Christian texts.
One is about frequency the other is a referendum of ancient esoteric science.

Well then just read the other book I suggested, it is written by a native american and comes from a completely different perspective to anything Christian.
