Inoculation and storage question

I'm getting ready to inoculate my jars. I'm doing the BRF setup with a simple shotgun chamber.
I will have a dry layer of verm. over the top of my inoculation mixture.
Should I cover the 4 holes in the lid with micropore tape, wrap the top of the jars with aluminum foil and then sterilize?
Should I remove that micropore tape from the holes prior to inoculation? Or do I stick the syringe needle right through that tape?
Do I leave that tape on the jar lids while storing the inoculated jars waiting for the spores to "take hold" so to speak in the mixture? Or do those holes need to be open for gas exchange?
Also, what type of environment should I store those inoculated jars in?
Thanks for all the help. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on grow methods as well as terminology.

Don't need tape but you need foil. Then take the foil off after sterilization. Leave them at room temp on a shelf.

Thanks for the response.
Why do some videos think you should you use the tape? What would be it's purpose?

Tape is really just an extra barrier to make yourself feel better. As long as you have the dry verm layer, which is the MAIN barrier, you will be fine. Old info that tape is necessary. Foil is used to keep water out of your jars while sterilizing, so keep that.
If you want to use tape.....I used it when I did pf-tek years ago and I just inoculated right through it then didn't replace it.

Awesome.
Should I remove that tape when I'm storing the inoculated jars?
