Hi fellow shroomers,
I am new to learning about and hunting mushrooms, i was walking my dog today and came across these mushrooms in a school parking lot, i am curious to know what they are. If anyone can I.D for me that would be awersome! Im judging there poisonous by the red bruising and do not intend on doing anything with them. They are currently sitting on foil so i can get a spore print, i will post the prints tomorrow morning. Thanks

None of them look active to me.. look like the wannabe's you will generally find quite close, to or next the real deal down here in VIC.
Wait for a Trusted Identifier though as I may be 100% wrong.

1. looks to be Leratiomyces ceres 2. Could be a Coprinoid but I'm not sure on that one.
Wait for a TI to confirm
And welcome to the Shroomery!

Thanks for the welcoming:)
Yes they look very similar to active ones, Iv had them sitting on foil overnight to get spore prints so will posts pics later. Also going to go check that spot again and see if 2 has grown some more.
We have had a fair bit of rain recently in Victoria, is this ideal conditions for mushrooms to grow?
Thanks for the help

Yea looks like Leratiomyces ceres and a Psathyrella. Keep checking similar habitats, you'll find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the I.D Ran-D,
I am wondering why there was a lot of mushrooms in this certain spot with bark, compared to other spots? is it because the soil could have been fertilised with some sort of manure or something? Is it possible to find psilocybin mushrooms in habitats fertilised with manure like this?
Any help would be much appreciated:)

The main active mushroom you will find around Vic is Psilocybe Subaeruginosa, a wood loving mushroom found in and around decomposing wood material.
