Has anyone here ever tried mescaline? What is it like, and how does it compare to Psilocybin?

I also would like to know characteristics of mescaline compared to other psychedelics. I take LSD and mushrooms quite regularly and I even own heaps of mescaline containing cactui but for some reason I have never indulged. Maybe it just hasn't called me yet. Regardless, I would love to know it's similarities/differences to other psychedelics.

Imagine a LSD analogue from nature. Thats kinda like cacti.
Execpt theres a drunken come-up, and the visuals feel more hyper-real/Super HD/Dreamlike to me, while LSD is more Organic-electric/evolving/transforming.

Warm, earthy, extremely empathogenic & entactogenic, wholesome euphoria, crystal clarity of the mind, unparalleled connection to nature, deepening of colors, improved acuity of vision, very ancient feeling... It's incredible; one of favorites. IME it's not super visual, but the most I took was 353 mgs of mescaline HCL. Still a great dose; it's about the feelings & headspace more than the visuals really. The Native Americans call it first & foremost a medicine, and I agree.

Unless you live in the far northern latitudes, you shouldn't have to wait 10 years. I live in california and my cactus grow about a foot every year.
I brew up a batch of tea once or twice a year, and save the tips of the cactus to re-plant....the stuff grows so quickly where I live I pretty much have a life-time supply of cactus at this point, and enough to gift a cutting or two every year as well.
Buy several cuttings or some seeds of different species and get em' in the ground....in a few years you'll have more than plenty to work with and share with others.

I was actually planning on planting one in a pot so that I could take it wherever I go. I'm still in school and moving around quite a bit.

clean means there isnt as much chemical additives in the drug, so its basically as clean as a drug can get coming from its natural plant form.

If you're going to grow out San Pedro for a good mescaline experience, I would suggest going with T. Peruvianus or T. Bridgesii. Grows just as quickly, much higher mescaline content, and the Bridgesii is way more consistant potency-wise. San Pedro is awesome dont get me wrong. All are pretty affordable too.

I think It's unique quality is the pace of the experience. Its sloow, like a turtle creeping through the desert.

It kicks in slow, but the mind space was actually way faster and more chaotic than several hits of WoW blotter, when I struck a very potent 10 inch bridgesii specimen.

It's a good qualitative description of mescaline....in small doses.
On potent cacti, your mind definitely can feel like it's spinning faster than a centrifuge, flying apart, losing your mind, not knowing who you are, tunneling through a hyperspace of sorts behind closed eyes, everything so bowed and warped you can't see straight, neon bright glowing skies. See my sig, that was from 10 inches of bridgesii. Cacti is unpredictable, that 10 cacti trip annihilated any 15 inch bridgesii trip I've had
Mescaline in high amounts is harder to handle than DMT. At least with that you know it's over in 5 minutes..not 16 fucking hours

Blazer, on a high dose it's more than a "slight rolling feeling" lol..if I were to compare it to a non psychedelic as you kinda did, I'd describe it as more of a strong stimulant/adrenaline rush mixed with a feeling vaguely similar to the general sort of profound euphoria, that something is cosmic, that I've gotten once from acid and many times from DMT
