Favorite Kratom Strain?

Just downed about 5 grams of Bali Kratom. It was in larger capsules, so I'm guessing on the dosage somewhat but based on past experience, the smaller caps are .5 grams ( says so on the packet but not on this particular brand with the larger caps).
In the past I have tried Maenga Da(?), Thai, Info, and Bali and I must say Bali is one of my favorites, but this is the first time with this natch so we will see how it goes.
On that note, what's your favorite strain of kratom and why?

Red dragon is the shit. Haven't tried borneo, but the red strai.s are the best and lile.the other poster said. If you want stimulation, just take less.

Aside from the three categories of green, white, and red vein, I don't notice much of a difference between strains. For me Red strains are not very euphoric while greens and whites are. Another thing is half the "strains" are just marketing terms from vendors. Sure there are different kratom strains but the whole strain thing is overhyped imo.

Red vein borneo. Most sedating I've had, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Don't care for stimulants

Most of it is marketing gimmick. One vendors red boreno may be trash compared to another vendors red boreno. For the most part im partial to red vein strains.

Idk, I definitely notice a difference in strains. Granted, I get most of my supply from convenice stores as branded products but I can still tell a difference.
Malay, definitely the most stimulating, almost like a low dose of Adderall. Malay is followed NY Thai IMO. Indo is somewhere inbetween and is very euphoric. Maegan Da is the best of both worlds, but is just average but really depends on what you are looking for.
The Bali seems to be amazing at helping pain relief!
It is strange though, Kratom seems to level out the effects of alcohol. Despite drinking fairly copious amounts of alcohol, I am not nearly as drunk as I would be from alcohol alone.
Anyone else experience this on kratom + alcohol?

This is how i feel about pot. You have indica, and sativa, which are noticeably different, amd overall potency, but otherwise i feel strain names are marketing gimmick for total suckers.
Unless you need something with a specific chemical for med. purposes then yeah i can understand that, but i can't imagine the feeling of the high being any different.
Not to mention i could grow sour diesel, and my neighbor could, and they could still produce slightly different effects considering all the different variables that come into being high.
When i buy pot i just buy what looks to get me the most stoned, and thats the end of it.
It cracked me up when my friend was selling weed to these ridiculously picky kids(not literally kids, but they way they act while stoned they might as well be)who insisted they could tell the difference between any two strains. My friend got weed from two different places, and they didn't know shit.
And don't get me started on the "different sources of acid" shit.
It's late, and im sure i said some stuff in here with no elaboration, tbat really needed it. Hopefully i remember in the morning and can explain in more depth what i meant, if any of that doesn't make sense.
