200% (What percent zoom do you have in order for this website to be readable?)

I have to have this website permanently zoomed in at 200% in order for me to not need a magnifying glass to read it. And so, when someone comes along and posts pictures (see here - and I see they look beautifully normal-sized when I drag my mouse over the link for a preview but) they come out enormous when going to actual link. I don't think I'm the only one because the OP questioned why they were so big. In order to shrink pics back down I had to zoom back to 100%. What's up with that? Or do I just need glasses?
Here is how it looks at my 200% zoom setting:

Otherwise here is normal 100% zoom:

go to account tab in top left corner
when it opens go down to where it says display preferences, number of topics shown... ect click edit at the right side.
go down to the bottom when page opens.
to where it says...
Limit width of images in posts?
type 500 in the box.(example) reduce more for smaller pics size
sorted the pics will be a good size.
it you want to put it back again
change back to a 0( in box)
hope it helps
and i have it on 100% page size and it not as small as yours for some reason.

It's an old website, its code doesn't account for the high resolutions our monitors are capable of these days. Change your resolution to 1024x768 to see how the site looked to its users for most of its existence.
I have it zoomed to 133% and am using the Deluvian Blue theme.

Maybe there could be an option to change the size of the text here in your account settings. Like em1, em2,etc. in JavaScript.
EDIT- I was way off here and didn't understand the issue

I have it at 100% and it looks fine to me on both my desktop PC and my laptop, which have drastically different sized screens.

100% works fine for me, but I find the Blu on black color scheme very unpleasant and annoying, so I've never used it. I would suggest trying a color scheme that is better suited for reading.
