I am thinking the first ones are wood ears but I don't really know as I haven't found anything like these before. Location: South Island, NZ.
SPECIES #1

I found these in native forest. They were growing on a decaying log. The large one is 12 cm wide and 2 mm thick. They are brown, rubbery and smooth. Suede like underneath. It's hard to describe but I would say It has a slight musty licorice odour.
----------
SPECIES #2

This one was found growing in the soil near flax. The soil contained some wood chip. There were three and the largest in the photo has a diameter of 7 cm and is 2mm thick. Colour a light coffee/beige. Cap smooth and rubbery.
----------
SPECIES #3

This one is tiny and beautiful about I cm across in total. *

The jelly fungus or what I've called wit he's butter grows rampant here in the south east. I also see a lot of the Brown jelly or Jews ear too. Though I know they're edibles I've never given then taste run. Nice pics!

Cool finds. The first is an Auricularia species.
The second is some sort of cup fungus. I'm not much good at identifying ascomycetes, so won't venture a guess further than Pezizales.
The third is Heterotextus miltinus.

Auricularia is fine to eat. It was actually exported from NZ to China and Europe once upon a time. It's better pickled in my opinion.
Use a search engine and look into their history in New Zealand. It can be found easily enough. A guy called Chew Chong started it all. The maori even have a name for these.

Thanks alot karode. Pickled aye, I love pickles. Mr Chew Chong was a very enterprising man.
And this from maoridictionary.co.nz
hakeka 1. (noun) ear fungus, Auricularia polytricha - a thin, fleshy, ear-like growth, shiny dark brown on one side and dull whitish grey on the other. Common on both live and dead trunks of broad-leaved forest trees, particularly on māhoe, karaka and houhere. See also taringa o Tiakiwai, hakeka, hōkeke
Cheers
