water pooling in monotub

I was reading up and wanted to know if any of you had this problem as well. There is so much co sensation inside it ends up collecting and then dripping down the side and collecting underneath the liner on the bottom of the tub. I'm thinking I should grab a paper towel and tilt the tub and get the water out, but if its not going to cause problems I'll let it go.
Anyone experienced this?

thank you. I was thinking about drilling a hole, but I really don't want to fuck with the tub for now. appreciate it.

How deep is your substrate? It looks pretty thin to me. Could just be the picture.
Those jars look sweet! Like beautiful constellations against a backdrop of netruients eternally reaching out towards each other!
Happy cultivating!

its about 3 inches with the casing layer on it, kinda uneven so sometimes it goes up more than 3 and some a little below. thanks man, those are my first round of grains right there, I was getting nervous because they took about 6 days to show growth.
thanks cron!
how high do you guys make your sub lvl?

Ok cool it definitely appeared thinner than that to me in the picture. I'm running 3" on my uncased monos (almost solely because I didn't follow the most rudimentary of rules- measure twice cut once,- I was going for 4") so when I case the second one I'm thinking just about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch

Sorry if I'm butting in here but when you do straw do you still add verm or do you just let the straw's field capacity suffice?

gotcha, this tub is 50/50 verm/manure(I thought that seemed like a good mix), seems to be working pretty good, but I heard straw/poo is like steroids.

Cool thanks cron, one more if I could. I was recommended wheat straw for oysters- does the same apply to cubes?

Awesome I appreciate it, I'm picking up a bunch of wheat straw for these oyster clones soon so I might try a cube tub with it and see what that's like. Honestly I want to experiment with every technique- to see all the results for myself. Mushrooms are so moody with the right observation you can learn a lot.

its all good man, about to finishing making my substrate, im going to use some straw on my next tub so it actually helps me out too lol. but it got me thinking, does 60/40 manure verm work better than 50/50?
I would assume not because it would hold less water than a sub with more verm.
