Fly agaric hike

so me and my friend went on a hike looking for red reishi in a hemlock forest. We found many reishi's of poor quality and kept a few good ones The hike was down hill along a creek where the reishi's were growing The reishi's liked the mossy side of hemlocks so that's where we searched along the river We came across a random aminitas I wasn't sure what kind it was No evidence of a universal veil. No scales. Odd I thought Began hiking upwards when we spotted a fly agaric under a fern growth by some hemlocks and maybe a birch There were a few gnat like flys going crazy all around it I heard somewhere you can taste a mushroom to identify it I wanted to get a taste to look it up when I got home I was not stupid I did not take a lot Instead I picked off two scales handed one to my friend and said let me know what u think this tastes like wel look it up later and see what it is We put the scale in our mouths We slid the scale across our pallet and in between our teeth It didn't have a distinct taste Almost like paper. Nothing We started laughing I got very dizzy My friend said lets go back so we began to hike upwards I got so sweaty very fast I took my shirt off and tied it to my head We were climbing a 60° incline in what felt like 99° weather My friend is in better shape so he went ahead I got very disoriented and sweaty I laid down and woke up from what felt like a dream My friend was calling me from the top of the mountain I continued onward I reached my friend and he said I think that mushroom was magic I said no way someone would have eaten it by now. U know how many hippies hike here and take all the damn reishi hahaha Then I realized the aminita we found earlier had its scales picked clean Paper Paper Paper I pondered for a long time as I laid Down disoriented and sweating I woke up when some people came down the trail. I walked up my friend said he saw a deer I said cool My vision getting blurry like my eyes were dry. Things seemed bright and hazey My blood pressure was irregular going slow to fast back to slow to big pulses in a rhythm I reached the last leg of the hike I sat with my head lurched forward for another quick nap My friend with me so I was in less of a sedative mood as I was self conscious of being so tired and sweaty. Both of us disoriented. We came to a hill and we ran down it. I almost twisted my ankle but recovered quickly to avoid injury. The disorientation got me off valence after going down the hill so fast Everything bright and hazey Lucid Almost visually wet Feeling wet from the sweat Liquid We got in the car. My friend asked me if I was ok to drive I said yeah I'm just tired Waited a few minutes and drank some water Cooled off Felt better The haze was going away but things seemed vibrant We drove home I identified the random aminitas as a fly agaric Now I realize The scales on fly agarics are like hits of acid Not literally but figuratively they are small and psychedelic paper like tabs Someone was picking the scales off to trip. That's why the scales formed from the veil were gone on the first aminitas we found that had missing scales Next time I go hiking there for reishi I will be careful of taste testing aminitas It wasn't a bad trip just very draining physically and mentally

I think Amanita have a high buccal availability.
I got similar results after taking one nibble(after noting forest animals had been eating from the same mushrooms), chewing it to liquid and feeling the warm happy energy glow then bounding though the forest hunting the rest of the day with my color saturation turned way up. The vibrancy.
If utilizing a larger amount for shamanic journey then correct preparation is, IMO, paramount.
-------------------- Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order: 1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine 2)Amanita (urine drank twice) 3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose) 4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators) 5)Salvia (need to try quid)
All readable matter in the above post is ficticious... any similarities to real life are purely coincidental. Blessing.

This all happened by accident I did read somewhere last night most of the pschodelic properties are found in the skin which is where we ate from the scales Interesting day I'm not sure if it's illegal to eat or possess agarics though because they have no psilocybin

It's not. In fact some websites sell them legally as "decoration" or some similar crock of shit lol. But hey as long as they are sold legally I'm happy

They are classified as a deliriant. They can bring you really good times and really shitty times. Just depends, I've ordered strains that I ate an entire ounce of and had an amazing experience, but I've had different strains where I ate 8grams or so and experienced nothing except sweating profusely and feeling uncomfortable. So they have some interesting experiences to offer, but they have their downsides if you eat a strain your body doesn't like I guess. Also please note it's not exactly wise to eat an entire ounce of any strain, I had a good time on that dose (was African A's), but it could have some serious health risks involved with consuming that much. I know they are classified as a poisonous mushroom but I'm really not sure to what extent those dangers go.

If you order from a website they will not be fresh, they come properly prepared (baked in an oven or something) so they are less toxic. I don't remember all the science behind the preparation process, but it's no where near as dangerous as eating them fresh. I've never felt like I was going to die or anything, just during a few of my experiences with them I found myself feeling nothing except uncomfortable and sweating a shitload (even though I was chillin in my house which has great AC)

Yes! On that hike I got so sweaty I laid down and took a few ?naps? Not sure what to call them almost like a deep meditation dream. But it didn't take long to get to sleep. It wasn't like normal sleep it might have been a deep exhaustion type thing But I was soaked in sweat
