cakes turned blueish??
    #22055435 - 08/06/15 08:27 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Hi so my cakes developed a fuzzy exterior in the fruiting chamber. mushrooms grew, and upon picking them with a blue nitrile glove on, the fuzzy white exterior turned a light blue! almost kind of grey. then the cake next to is also changed color ever so slightly. mushrooms still growing though. Should I be concerned about infection?

I am rehydrating the cakes now, upon further reading it doesnt seem like infection, I wiped with a cotton ball and it came back clean. sorry for the noob post.
