Outdoor poo pile

These days ill be getting this giant cow poo pile in my yard its few weeks old from a cow breeder so id like to make an outdoor mycelium pile from it this time of the year is perfect I think cuz by the time the poo will be leached from the ammonia the temperatures would drop and by the time it colonizes they'll drop again and it will be perfect for fruiting I just don't know where to place the poo pile should i dig a giant hole or inside a house i have 1 empty house or under a giant tree for the shade or it doesn't matter also i don't know will it colonize without being pasteurize and how to colonize it ? I have liquid cultures and can make grain jars and spawn them to it or just make 1 big LC and just water it with it or burry my spend substrates in it ? And if I place it on the ground should I put something under it to separate it from the soil ?

let the manure lay in the sun and rain for at least a couple weeks if it havent already (leaching)
then you just hydrate some cow poo and verm and mix with spawn outside in a shady area. moe's outdoor tek is pretty simple to follow!

Y I red some teks but I still don't know where to put the poo i plan on making something like a sandbox 6 inches high and fill it with the poo. Do i have to have something to separate the poo from the earth otside / concreate inside where would it be better to make the bed inside the house (its a 100 + year old house it 3 big rooms on the ground connected but all are closed and have no windows only 1 door to go outside and walls are made from stone the floor is from concreate the only concern is that the roof is about to fall xD) or outside in a shady place tomorrow my poo will arrive so if i make the bed can i just put it straight in it mixed with straw and leave it there to age and later contaminate it with mycelium and if it all colonizes and shrooms grow will i be able to walk over the mycelium to pick them or i will damage it ?

I would have made sure the manure was leeched well first.
its a bit hard to follow when you make everything 1 long sentence, but are you asking if it would be better to grow inside? If so, then yes. then you want to pasteurize your manure.

Coprinus or coprinoids (inky caps)
ALL the more reason to let it get leached and dried. It'll kill those. Those are some aggressive bitches. You don't want it in with your cubes.

if your doing an outdoor grow you should keep it outside in the shade. the abandoned house does not seem like the way to go.
i would dig a hole or do it on a raised bed of some kind if you have a lot of bugs around. i have always done holes without a liner underneath but some say you should use one to keep the mycelium from trying to colonize the dirt.
i dont know how much poo you have but i did fairly small beds with 12 qt of spawn and about 40 qt of horse poo (2 5 gallon buckets full) and i just threw a couple giant handfuls of verm in there to keep it airy. you will need more verm or straw probably with cow poo i hear its more muddy.
i would use grain spawn for sure though it's possible to just use a LC or slurry but you will get a much higher yield with grain in there.
spawn, cover with a tarp until its colonized then i would add a casing layer to help with non-humid days and whatnot i had a few issues with smaller beds if i didnt case.
and definitley make it so that you can pick mushrooms without having to step on the bed itself .

Just let it dry out. No bleach or pesticides or anything. You can however take some alcohol and swig it back while you wait :P
