Hmmm....I don't know why it says "this image has been deleted by poster".  I've tried uploading them regularly and with the alternate method.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?  I've never had a problem uploading images in the past.

It was my first hunt.  Oh well.  Better luck next time.

Thanks anyway.  I appreciate your input!

Also, is blue bruising something that happens only in active species?

well, yes, with the understanding that it only occurs in some active species, and in general there are no active species without gills.

there are many bolete-type mushrooms that bruise blue that do not contain psilocin or psilocybin, but blue from another chemical reaction.

and you're very welcome.  keep at it, you're in prime location.  good luck.

try to practice making a spore print too.  if its not purple or black, its probably not close to what you're looking for
