cant expand the images but it looks like psilocybe subaeruginosa to me.

best to wait for a trusted identifier to confirm it though.

yeah the image problem is a bit inconvenient, but i believe there's a 99% chance that those are magic mushies.

do they bruise blue? pinch one really hard and see if it changes colour. if it bruises blue then its 99.9999% a sub, but i'd still wait for a TI just to be perfectly safe.

I am pretty sure that species does not grow there. I think the only Psilocybe that does is Psilocybe cubensis.

I can't view the pictures either, so I can't give an opinion other than that.

For me it's difficult to say, but I can say that I would expect cubes to grow directly on dung. It's hard for me to see the pictures well. Sorry. :frown:

All good, thank you so much for the help! Is there any way to get the pictures to you elprawn? Pretty excited about this hunt, was the first time a suspected field fruited!

usually they grow right out of dung, sometimes nearby depending on how well fertilized that area has become over time

can't really id from your pictures, spore print is right, but you almost always see some bruising with cubes so that discredits the desired id a bit

good pictures would say it all, and northern florida is plagued with great hunting spots, so

good luck!

Thank you so much for the help everybody.Overall it was a good hunt although I did not see oxidation so I'm categorizing them as inactive, it is interesting to see the mycotic diversity of the Florida area.
