Habitat:
Growing on patties, cow pasture, central Florids


Gills:
Black or dark purple

Stem:
3" stem, fiberous thin and hollow

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color:
Very important!

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

He can, but it's best not to google common names of mushrooms for information anyway as they have no real meaning. Different people in different parts of the world (or just in general) call the same mushrooms by different common names.

Take a spore print.
And try and upload larger pics.
Those are some beautiful boomers though, the rain gods have finally started blessing us here in soFL.

The stem blued where I cut it and Im doing a spore print now but it was raining out so the cap is soaked.

it doesnt look like the cyans I usually get, or maybe they are young but they have bell caps.

Im new to shrooming so im unsure but in the first pic its still on the dung with a cube (copper top) next to it.

I have plenty of sun ripened cow dung, pastures in every direction. would horse be better I might can get some from one of the farms.

It is active tho isnt it and safe to eat?

I cant get a print because its too wet but the spores are purple as hell when I swipe the gills across a napkin.

can I start more with the swipe?

You'd need to do some serious agar work, even if you got a wild print on foil and such.
