A trip with dad

Hello. First time poster. Been lurking for some time. Had two experiences with mushrooms, am next to a third, more intense one, of five grams. I thought a security forum would be the best place to post this, even though I'm not sure.
Anyway, besides this next trip, I have convinced my father that the mushroom is good for self-analysis and that taking them would be good for his mental and physical health. He is immersed in self-destructive habits, such as smoking, emotional eating; he eats too much red meat and drinks too much coca-cola. He is overweight and has high blood pressure. He takes pills for his blood pressure and sometimes to sleep, too. He's taken losartan, clonazepam and valium. I think he doesn't take valium anymore.
Also, he smokes weed. Almost every day. And he's had an experience with LSD almost two decades ago.
I want my father to take psilocybin because I think it will help him see his self-destructiveness. He is too proud to let me point it, and I've already accepted it, but I think he has to take more care of his health. He agreed to take psilocybin, but I'm worried it might be detrimental to his heart due to his high blood pressure. Any thoughts on the matter, pretty please?

Let your dad be unless he is complaining about his lifestyle to you.
And yes if he has a rough time it could do a number on his heart.

First thought is judge not lest ye be judged... second thought is what is your endgame? Point out all his faults while he's tripping?
You sound like you have great intentions.. but honestly if I was your dad I'd steal your drugs and kick you out for disrespecting my fat ass under my roof.
Go do drugs with friends or some girls.

lol no. My dad is willing. I wouldn't point anything, I'd just let the mushroom do it's thing. I would not be disrespecting him.

I have not heard of psilocybin causing problems for people with high blood pressure or other physical medical conditions. But I haven't checked, I suggest searching pubmed and google for info from someone who knows more about medicine than I do.
I think it is likely that psilocybin would help your dad with his habits and the depression which is usually the underlying cause of these kinds of life choices.
