I was basically swept up from my family to move back to california shortly after. Could there be a warrant because of this? I have been pulled over before recently and nothing came back when they ran my license though and like I said, I have held other jobs and nothing came up. I know it was stupid but I had no choice in my leaving. I was in a bad place.
I think you can check this by going to the state.gov for wherever the charges were...I've done this in Maryland...it is public record, so you should be able to find out. Also, shouldn't cost you anything.

Whoah hold on cowboy. I said good vibes. And I think that is precisely why theres a chance it gets "not found" local pd is notoriously poor with keeping records up to date or even accurate.

They they have another option that only checks within the last year and costs $10 and you have to wait 14 days. Would do no good for me.

When I did mine...it didn't cost anything...but that was 10 or so years ago. Now, it seems they graft money out of you any way they can. The other suggestion I had was to see about getting them expunged if they were misdemeanors. Some charges will allow this after a period of time. Good luck to you OOD...I hate to see when good people get screwed because of stupid shit like that. I sure hope that's not your case.

The few people I know that have backgrounds that got them axed from a potential job always got the big manila envelope in the mail with each reason that made them ineligible for the job they were applying for. So if they decide to not go with you for that reason, if your state is like mine, they'll let you know why.

That I don't know. I never asked anyone if they requested a copy. But now that you mention it I want to say that when I've signed off for allowing a background check there is a place where you can request a copy so maybe that's the case..
