incubation vs no incubation trail run with alacabenzi

Code:
Started my incubation 07/30/15. I took pictures this morning 08/04/15 each jar has roughly 1ml of alacabenzi liquid spores. This is the first time I've grown alacabenzi most on the forum usually see mycelium around day 9. Both are sets of sterilized rye grain in quart jars I have 2 sets of 5. The set in the incubator is being kept at 84 degrees until I see growth then will be turned down to 80 degrees to compensate for mycelium heat. The other set is out in natural sun light at 70 degrees. This trail is to see which method works better. Any advice or input would be great. Go science!!!

Well since you have more than one variable, there's no way to tell which will do better. Try again with an isolate. Or just look up this experiment on the search engine, cause it's been done to death.
Nobody denies that mushrooms grow faster when incubated, but so does bacteria.

Store inoculated jars on a shelf at room temperature out of direct sunlight. If your room temp struggles to stay above 70F then place a heater in the room where the jars are located.
Do not mess around with creating incubators for jars. It is not needed and could do more harm than good.

I decided to take cronicr's advice. I bought new spores "pcs amazon" I injected roughly 2 ml of spores in each and kept one outside the incubator and one inside. As far as mycelium growth for the alacabenzi's one of the jars finally has a small white spot of mycelium so I'm hopeful the rest will follow as time passes.

For future reference, 1/2 - 1 cc is plenty of spore solution for grain jars. The more you inject, you increase the amount of possible genetics (could be good or bad) and possibly throw off the moisture content in your jars, giving any possible contams from your MS syringe a good environment to thrive in. LESS is MORE with MS!!
