Bacon, Texas style...

Ted Cruz said: "There are few things I enjoy more than on the weekend cooking breakfast with the family," the Texas Republican senator says in the video. "Of course, in Texas, we cook bacon a little differently than most folks."
A video montage then plays showing Cruz, an ardent supporter of gun rights, purchasing raw bacon at a grocery store and cooking it with the hot barrel of a just-fired machine gun — providing an entirely new meaning for the expression "pork-barrel politics."

If he's going to nip all this gun control bullshit in the bud, I want him as president.
As for it being Texas style or unique, it's not. First no self respecting gun owner/Texan is going to ruin (ruin being used loosely, most gun owners love their guns and treat them accordingly) a rifle by doing that. Second, this was a viral video years ago.

With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. I find it interesting when individuals of a particular demographic or group go out of their to reinforce the stereotypes about themselves.
