Keeping fresh mushrooms in the fridge.

I hate to be the guy to ask a question that no doubt has been asked a million times, but through my use of the search bar I could not find any threads with satisfactory (or even current) information.
I greatly prefer fresh mushrooms over dry so I have about 45g fresh in my fridge right now. They've only been in there for about 8 hours and I know for a fact they last at least 24 without any problems, but I'm wondering if I'd be good to keep them in there for 4-5 days? Or better yet I would appreciate someone telling me the longest time possible to store fresh in the fridge before I should just go ahead and dry them.
I have them in an airtight container and I also threw some paper towels on the bottom of the container to wick any excess moisture out of the air.
Once again sorry for what might seem like a stupid question, but I just don't want my fresh mushies to go bad before I can ingest them.

I kept i paper bag loosely shut. Mushrooms would dry out after too many days that way. I suggest making tea to freeze. Or, blend with lemon to freeze. Would think all actives stays preserved that way.

My preffered way now these days to fresh is to freeze as blended drink. I think that preserves the psilocin too. True?

I've made tea many times before and it was really good, but I've never attempted to freeze it for longer term storage. I think I'm going to give that a shot. Thanks for your input man

I've kept fresh mushrooms in the fridge in a Tupperware container for well over 2 weeks without problems. Actually the last couple started smelling fishy after about a month abd a half. I put some paper towel at the bottom, but this is my preferred storage method as I definitely prefer fresh mushies over dried ones.
We munched on some after about two and a half weeks in the fridge and they were still incredibly potent!

This is exactly what I wanted to hear! I'm mostly glad you know this from first hand experience. I've looked so hard for a first hand account like yours and couldn't find one to save my life. Thanks a ton for that input!
