2 in vitro pins. The left was from a clear mason jar and the right from a green tinted mason jar.

The jar color had an effect on the color of the fruit?

That fruit on the right looks albino, or at the very least, sterile. Weird.
Kizzle, what are your thoughts on this?

Kizzle, what are your thoughts on this?
I used pink colored mono tubs, saw no difference in mushrooms. What is special about green? Or was the other jar low on moisture?

Its ms to agar and then I use selective genetics, its winter at the moment but I have an oil heater in the room so temps are between 20C-23C
Everything seems to be in order so it must be genetic. Are they all maturing at that same height and at the same rate?
Yes they are, its actually cute but that doesn't help with yield

Will these be hella potent like the abourts are? Cuz that would be some potent shrooms
They have quite a kick to them and the hole stem turns blue after harvest not just at the cutting point

Sorry. I'm just trying to wrap my head around this. We as a community, claim that ms is a variety of random genetics. So why would they all perform the same way if ms is suppose to be random? Either ms from a single spore print are closer genetically than we originally thought or your problem is environmental and you just can't figure it out. Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

Nah, that's just the veil remnants. I tried to make a print from it because it looked kind of like it was producing blue spores but it was just bruising, no spores at all.

maybe he got spores from an isolate someone has been working on for awhile idk.. I'm kinda talking 'out of my ass here. but isn't that how genetics work? isolation via reproduction followed by cloning followed by reproduction and so on?
