Hi All, Hope the season has been good for everyone, mine has been bad for Amanita Muscaria , but good for others. Though I hear they are everywhere, just not in my usual spots -
So let me start by saying , I've had an MRSA infection for about 4 or five months, battling along with various antibiotics that haven't helped and one type nearly killed me, and then the rains started and I found amanitas these really really helped, topically and internally, however I was giving them away thinking there would be heaps like last year, and I ran out and went hunting and hunting and only found a couple here or a bag full there, but not enough to take each day a few times a day and also spray on the sites - however it saved my life at the time. I really thank Jesus for his providence...
So I went for a look after some good rain the other day thinking there would be plenty , there wasn't. So I start walking through the forest praying and thinking , trying to make sense of things, asking why Lord or what could be a possible alternative? all the while I had a heaps of skin infected on my scrote truthfully very painfull and on my backside...
So as i'm walking along I started looking at some artist conks, gave one a squeeze and waited a minute to see if it would soothe any of my sores, I think it helped a bit, but they are full of bugs so I don't use them yet.
Still walking along and I came across some Orange bracket fungus Pycnoporus coccineus, and I remeber reading that the Aboriginies here in Australia use them for teething rings to soothe babies and also they are good against oral thrush. So I gave one a squeeze and wiped it on my forehead - i had sores there too, and it felt awesome, itching gone, pain gone, so I dropped my pants to the dismay of the kangaroos and wiped a bit on my scrote and it soothed it awesomely - So I picked a heap of these and brought them home and began making tea out of them.
I'm pleased to say they are a very effective alterantive to antibiotics once you take a few cups for a few days and apply some topically. I give Thanks to JEsus, and I also just wanted to share this little pearl of info since MRSA is a huge killer, and most people don't know what to do if they contract it.
It's also hugely difficult to get rid of, so yeah guys it all looks wonderful and again I thank God. Blessings and peace

Good to hear that you have some relief from you symptoms. Staphylococcus aureus is a commensal, maybe the Picnoporus coccineus is antibacterial for the staph, but it could be also doing something to the staph to make it less of a nuisance either way, it's cool.
