whats good art?
honestly man, bethe was hyped as fuck. all the chicks she beat in the ufc have a combined record of 1-7 I definitely didn't think she would go down like that though!
meisha rousey 3 should be pretty good. both of their striking has improved tremendously! they actually don't look like 2nd graders in the playground anymore. meisha is tough as balls too which always makes things interesting. n she has a great rack, so that's cool too

Am I the only one not excited about Meisha fighting Ronda for a third fucking time? Why does she even deserve the chance?

Duh. She's the only contender. RR has wiped out her whole division already. Every one of her fights will be a rematch now.

Lol, fighting and hitting mitts aren't in the same league. Waaaay different I could look impressive on some mitts
And what?!?! Tate don't deserve a rematch??? That's crazy talk. Like m4d said, all her fights will be rematches, until someone new rises up, like Holly. But I definitely think Meisha is the most deserving... she gave Ronda the most trouble and she's beating up everybody, except Kat.
I'm also super excited about DJ and Dodson 2!!! You were right, m4d, that first fight was waaaay closer than I remembered!!!

The only fights RR will have are meisha or cyborg if cyborg can get in the ufc. That or the freak Fallon fox hahaha there's no competition for Rhonda until other Olympic caliber women see how good she's doing and get into it. Either that or Rhonda fights men starting with Mighty Mouse and keeps moving up because u know she can beat most of the men

It's totally pointless, we all know Ronda will win again. It will waste months of everyones time.

Devon you can't be serious about RR being able to beat most of the men. UFC men that is. Ronda will be the first to tell you that's not the case. I think she would destroy someone like Floyd mayweather but certainly not Mighty Mouse. That opinion is almost laughable. I doubt any US fighting commission would sanction a fist fight between a man and a woman anyways so unless they do it in China or some shit it's pointless to even discuss
I think what would be more realistic and prospective is for Ronda to fight bigger girls. Maybe throw Lela Ali some money and get her in there for a catch weight bout. Lela thinks she would beat Ronda. I think otherwise but then again I'm not a boxing champion with a huge ego.

I agree. anyone who thinks ronda could actually beat a man is insane. theres a reason ronda looks as spectacular as she does. its because wmma is in its infancy still. granted, shes a great athlete, but just as mens mma has evolved, so will womans. so in 15 years from now, well be seeing tons of woman fighters on the roster possessing the skills of present day ronda. the skill needed to fight in the ufc as a male is astronomically higher than a female. add in the strength differential between male and female, in addition to the punching power of a male, and I guarantee you ANY flyweight on the roster is putting ronda down in less than 30 seconds.
n the tate fight is the only interesting fight out there. holm isn't ready for ronda yet, although I see her having the best opportunity of delaying the inevitable stoppage. a meisha ronda fight will sell itself. theres prior beef, meishas on a solid winning streak, both have improved tremendously since their last fight, and meisha is the only fighter STILL to have made it out of the first round with ronda. she was submitted late in the third last time. so tate, having faced ronda twice already, will definitely have a more solid gameplan than anyone out there to try n defeat the champ

Yep.
Ronda is spawning a whole new generation of female fighters, soon to hit the scene. I give it 5 more years and shit will be way more competitive.

Lol nah maybe not most of the men sorry. A good portion though. She trains with men and usually throws them around a so ya I think she could handle some of the lighter guys. Even guys that have trained with her will admit that. But that's just spec rite. Either way she needs more competition or she's gonna have to retire , she will retire undefeated if she keeps fighting the same mediocre athletes that can't hold a candle to her

I dont even think a good portion... if anything, she might be able to handle a couple guys in the mid range weight classes.... maybe. Patrick Cummins comes to mind ...he's 205 tho, so he might be able to flop on top of her. But I think the lighter guys are WAY to fast and technical and strong for her and the heavier guys are just too big lol. I mean, you gotta admit, she isn't the most technical striker yet. I clean shot to the jaw from someone like Robbie Lawler or Hendricks or even Mighty Mouse and Dodson, they'd shatter her jaw and orbital and she'd be out for two years!
Give her Floyd in an MMA fight and she'd win inside of 1:30 and I only say that long cause he's quick enough to run from her for 65-70 seconds lol. In a boxing match, honestly I haven't really seen Floyd fight but once or twice and he kinda jabbed and ran the whole time... so I cant say.

Lol nah I wouldn't ever want to see her hit by a dude. She's tougher than most though it's what she trains to do. Yea she could probably beat every guy in king of the cage lmao or other bum organizations
