Deputies arrest 3, seize $150k worth of drugs in Warren County, Ohio
GHB seizure called one of biggest ever in region

LEBANON, Ohio —The Warren County Sheriff's Office said it's made one of the biggest seizures of a 'date rape' drug in the region.
The Warren County Drug Task Force culminated an investigation into the trafficking of GHB, also known as the “date rape” drug, and crystal methamphetamine.
Arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs -- major drug offender, were the following:
Samuel Ray, 45, of Douglasville, Ga.
David Price, 42, of Powder Springs, Ga.
Cindy Soeder, 42, of Douglasville, Ga.
The sheriff's office said the trio traveled from Georgia to sell 2 gallons of GHB and a half-pound of crystal methamphetamine to an undercover detective for $10,000.
The drugs involved have an ultimate street value of nearly $150,000, the sheriff's office said.
"In part, there's no question this group is targeting the gay community. I think that needs to be said, certainly that they need to be aware of that. This drug, when you look at the two bottles, it looks just like water," said Commander John Burke with the Warren County Drug Task Force. "It's colorless, it's apparently tasteless and I think everybody, especially when you're in a situation where you're not comfortable or don't know maybe the person you're with. You need to be very careful. Everyone be careful."

why do they want to harm the gay community? why would they target such a specific portion of the population?
gay people have more money cause they don't have children or pay church tithes.
they can do more drugs without harming the community. or maybe its the opposite.

Poisoning people for profit?
These people are sketch but GHB isn't a poison And they weren't poisoning or date raping anyone according to the article 
Also I did the math and the drugs are only worth about 25,000 street value. I don't know what that would go for in ohio

That sounds about right.
Ghb is fun!!! I've taken it with Dewithx amphetamine and it was pretty fun. Sometimes can be weird on the stomach.
Targeting the gay community is cop lingo for hooking up the gay community

It's funny, and partly what made me post this article, but I haven't seen or heard of GHB in real life since the 1990s...until a few weeks ago when a friend who happens to be gay told me he had a small amount. We live about an hour away from where this colorful trio was arrested, and are in their age range. Related?

Yea im sure the only thing on their mind was the  . They wouldnt have cared if it was posion as long as they got the $10,000 and didnt kill everyone so they would come back for more. People like this are scum and dont care about delivering a safe natural product. More addictive just = more cause from them to continue no matter what destruction they cause.

My point is you don't need to go after and target for new customers. You don't have to pressure people into buying addictive drugs. People buy them willingly and in high frequencies. Dealers have enough on their plate with out "targeting" individuals. A new customer is someone who chooses to buy the drug for the first time. Key word choose.
