Egg roll Schmeg Roll...

After trying to find a good place for egg rolls and failing, I've decided to make them myself.
Filling is made with ground pork, bok choi, red and yellow bell pepper, bean sprouts, onion, garlic and jalapeno.
Sauce is made with ripe peaches, sugar, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce and a tiny bit of onion, garlic and cayane pepper. Blend all this together and reduce by 1/4 on the stove.
Fry the egg rolls till golden brown, dip and enjoy.

Mmmmm....damn dude that looks like alot of work. I'm always hessitant to fry things in my house.

just finished up a long stint in a pan Asian place, those look solid! you should make a hot mustard and a sweet/chili/soy dip as well! and might as well won tons at the same time.
liquid i always fry outside with a lil fryer i have, inside just smells/clings too much inside for me as well.

These did truly satisfy my craving. The meat to veggie ratio in the filling was just right and everything seasoned well. I suggest to anyone making egg rolls to add bell peppers and jalapeno, it really made them tasty.
After about the third batch Is when I took that pic of them frying. After two more batches I was getting scared that I might start a grease fire and had to stop for cleanup. 
Well worth the effort and should be another year before I try this again.
