Your Substrate Suggestions (NOT talking about Spawn)

hi again.
my army of 20+ grain jars are reaching around 90% colonization. as for fruiting, I'm gonna go for a bulk Monotub.
Problem : No coir and Verm is available here
Q : what replacements can I prepare as my substrate to mix with my grain spawn in my monotubs ? got around 5 days time for your answers.
I have access to many grains, tea leaf, gypsum, lime, woodchips ( ), bran, straw and cow manure. PLEASE consider the fact that it's my first grow, and advise a fail-safer method (don't care if it's hard, time consuming etc.)
PS, searched already, and found many forums and threads with people who used word "Substrate" instead of "Spawn" plus one website in dutch
Thanks

-Fail Safe -Not coir & verm
Choose one. Especially if you want an easy time for your first grow.
Also how did you get to this point without knowing that you didn't have coir or verm available? You didn't shop around and get everything you'd need, just enough to start?
Maybe you could use the straight manure or supplement with straw but you're going to have to be 100% sure you understand how to pasteurize it. blojo got you pointed in the right direction.

100% cow manure sounds muddy, manure and straw (NOT hay!) are the only cubensis substrates on your list.
guess you'll just need to learn how to make straw and manure if thats all you can get so.. good luck!

actually, (if you mean I should choose one from this two options) I have to choose No coir and Verm
I'm capable of pasteurization, I'm sure I can do it right and complete. So I'll stick to straw and cow manure.
Do you think it's safer to try one monotub with straw alone, and one with manure alone, and one with mix of both. or it's not a smart idea and just do all like each other ? (mixing) Answered while typing
Thanks all

Yeah you're gonna have to find a way to mix the straw and manure to a good consistency. May take some practice runs.
