Best forum for DMT??

I know Nexus is considered the most popular, but I think it's been abandoned for the most part. They average just a couple posts a day. 90% of their forums have posts that are not even from today. The extraction tek forums have tons of unanswered posts from over a month ago, etc. I think they really shot themselves in the foot by disallowing new members from registering.
Is there anywhere else?
I'm looking into extraction teks, and they're very general. Most teks have no pictures. I'm surprised... it's nothing like mushrooms, that's for sure. I thought there would be step-by-step tutorials for newbs, etc. Even the teks that claim to be designed for newbs seem to gloss through steps and take a lot of information for granted.

But is there enough of a community of extractors here, who will respond to your questions?
Are there any active extraction threads? Or are they all from yesteryear with the thread starters all AWOL?

I've been reading up on the teks for the last week, and I have so many questions nobody can answer because...
1) It won't allow new members. According to their registration policy, they open the gates on the weekends, but this is not true. It was still closed when I tried.
2) Even if they did allow members, the questions go unanswered. I don't know what happened to that place, but it's like a wasteland. There aren't any mentors/moderators/trusted cultivators/etc. It's deserted, almost as if the guy who owns it went to jail or something.

I think I had like 400 posts by the time I cultivated my first tub of mushrooms, and there are way more and better teks for mushrooms, including RR's videos. DMT teks seem to still be in the stone ages... like mushroom cultivating in the early 2000s. The instructions are pretty general. I have a lot of questions, usually.

Mushroom cultivation isn't as easy as gettin dmt out... Just read various different teks, understand the whole process before you start, e.g learning all the errors that could happen and learning how to solve the errors.

Read the teks on the Nexus. Ask your questions here in the chemistry and pharmacology forum.

Chrisman FTW!
Really though. Nobody wants to post in a place with a bunch of elitists when it comes to psychedelics. I tried to get in the flow over at the Nexus several times, but unfortunately people are SUPER strange and clique-ey over there even more so than here.
I think the rules and the general demeanor they have to that site turned it into a bunch of smug people.

I'm a member there, but I mostly only participate in the cactus subforum. Yeah they're a little different over there. The nice thing though is you don't have to wade through pages of shit posting to find the info you are looking for.

That's completely true. As a place for compiling really cool knowledge in an easy to navigate online tek library; That place is the bees knees. But for real, It just never seemed like a very welcoming place to me. Perhaps I didn't fit the mold.

I forgot the password to my account and tried to look up ANY sort of contact or contingency to get back on the nexus and ask my questions. The site is definitely on the decline and an enterprising web developer could probably drum up a decent community from the niche. DMTery? *ehem*
I posted my question on shroomery and got minimal responses. They were helpful, but nothing as absolute/resolute as the nexus.
It's sad, man. I'd really like to see that community again, now that I've got a good feel of what it's like here. Elitism and superstition are a prereq to interest in DMT for most (myself included back then). It was tough entering a thread without reading a "pearls unto swine" reference.

See I come from a group of psychonauts that don't focus on whether or not the experiences in tryptamine hyperspace are just a projection of your own subconscious or actually entity contact. In fact we just try and take in the experiences for what they are and integrate whatever we learn in those states of mind back into our everyday life.

So I don't really see it as a "pre-requisite" for these chemicals at all really. I think they take you to a state of consciousness rife with allegory that may (or may not). Apply to your life at the time.

Nevertheless, there is a certain social culture that flocks to these substances and a subset of that culture uses the forums. While the drug isn't "calling" certain people, there are certain cultural patterns and demographic characteristics that define the cultures and their subsets.
Think of it this way, the difference between DMT users and DMT users on the nexus, is access to a computer (likely a personal one, indicating affluence). Also, there's probably not a lot of Peruvian, spiritual ayahuasca gurus posting on the nexus.
Likewise, another example: I doubt many DMT users in general are traditionalist followers of any of the abrahamic religions.
It may not be a prereq, but there is definitely an observable pattern. Usually organisms in the same place share similar origins and characteristics. Even on the internet.

Well if you thing about it the UDV is pretty steeped in Christianity if you ask me. As far as the Abrahamic religious reference. And its one of the most common compounds found in nature. It's literally in most parts of the world in some form. Hell I'd argue that plenty of shamanistic use has been found around the globe.
So to me as far as "certain cultures are more likely to stumble onto DMT" goes, well maybe. But shouldn't the internet be about spreading such knowledge to a point where anybody could have the power to give themselves what I feel is a very integral part of being a human being in this "New Inquisition" against Psychedelic research and use? Elitism has no place in that endeavour.

*traditionalist abrahamic religions. that's a much smaller subset of all Christianity and pertains to the elderly, insane, and people from 0 b.c. (mostly joking).
That wasn't my argument. And your ideal, while nice, is not reality in terms of the nexus. Read my post closer (lol, use a dictionary if you have to), or if someone takes interest in our volly, they can explain better. Thanks for pullin' that outta me, that was fun :P
Bedtime.

This thread renewed my interest in the nexus. I lost my password and security answer, but is there a way to get ahold of the admin there at all? Sad...
