    #22032332 - 08/02/15 07:52 AM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Habitat:
Growing from moss in a very wet, swampy area.

Gills:
Seem to be false gills. Yellow/Orange colored.

Stem:
2-3 inches tall. Yellow/Orange color. Hollow.

Cap:
1-2 inches in diameter. Slightly lighter yellow/peach color.  Hole in center runs through hollow stem.

Spore print color:
Printing now.

Bruising:
None.

Other information:
Smelled kind of fruity but it was hard to tell as I was picking trumpets the whole time.

Some black trumpets,  they are so delicious.

Craterellus. Tubaeformis is usually a little more brown on the cap. What is the location? I'm leaning more towards lutescens

Thanks I'll have to compare with lutescens.  I'm in western ct.  Someone had mentioned they might be yellow footed chanterelles and that was the first thing to come up.
